I've been doing a couch to 5K program and I've really been enjoying it. The enjoyment is a non-scale victory, or at least a pleasant non-scale surprise. I love watching dumb TV shows, though I rarely do so, and I run on a treadmill that has a TV. I click that sucker on and before you know it, the Real Housewives or Below Deck has taken me so deeply to Guilty Pleasureville that I hardly notice my own effort. I've even started extending my run/walks past the prescribed couch to 5K workouts, which are usually about 29 minutes long, to 45 minutes - because the combination of entertainment and physical effort are that enjoyable.
Likewise, for NSV #2, I bought a dress online recently and I wore it while running around on errands yesterday, even though my legs are very, very pale and I'm not in tip-top shape. And of course, no one laughed or pointed or stared. I'm just a person in a dress. Go me!31 -
I don't have a lot of time between work and school for an 'official' workout, so I've been focusing on walking my dogs for 20 minutes each day and doing squats and incline pushups every time I go to the bathroom.
Today, after a month and a half, I checked myself in the mirror and was pleasantly surprised to find I had a bit of roundness to my glutes and that my sleeves are a bit loose21 -
Fitting into some work shirts that have been too tight for 2 years!17

Went to TJ Maxx today just to use the bathroom, but I saw this cute shirt on clearance. Medium. I thought "What the heck" and tried it on...it fit! My first Medium in over 20 years! I had to buy it!30

I ran with my puppy down the street for a few minutes. That sounds like the most boring story ever, except I've never even been able to run for a train, or run to my car in the rain, because I'd be all out of breath and tired and stuff. Today I was not out of breath at all.
That said... I couldn't run that much, because my pants were in serious danger of falling off. =P
My stomach isn't really smaller but my butt and hips are.27 -
A Victoria Secret bra in size LARGE. I avoided them when younger and bigger. Also $7.99 sale so that was great too.
14.5 pounds away from my minigoal of 191.. puts me in overweight bmi.15 -
Was shirt shopping at Nordstrom’s Rack and felt confident enough about my size to buy an “L” without trying it on first. It fits perfectly! I started as a +1, so this feels like a big victory15

I ran a mile in 9 mins and 53 seconds (UNDER 10 minutes!!!) aaaaaand my coworker called me 'fit' in the same day.
Feeling really pumped!20 -

Crossing milestones lines in the sand gives a measurable sense of accomplishment that's like putting new fuel in the tank to continue the journey. Congratulations; now keep marching forward!

I ordered my hubby and myself new silicone rings and we both got a size smaller than our last rings. I went from size 7 to a size 611

Looks like a lot of people are 'downgrading' around here.
I weighed in this morning and am officially out of the obese category of BMI and into overweight!28 -

Being able to run around the backyard with my dog was one of the goals I put in on my profile at the very beginning It's a very good NSV in my mind

Then yesterday, I was walking into work and a guy I worked with regularly when I was in the warehouse post-college said I was looking great and smaller than he'd ever seen me and that I had motivated him to lose some weight too. He just hadn't had a chance to congratulate me yet.
For reference, I've lost 130 pounds in the last 8 1/2 months. Feels good especially considering I still feel like I have at least 80 pounds left to lose.
Holy moly please sure your tips on what your doing to have lost such an amazing amount of weight in a 8 month time span!4 -
I bought this professional, super adorable LBD a few months ago as a goal dress.
Today I wore it to work with rockin red heels and I got so many compliments! I feel like a million bucks24 -
Got the courage to ask a stranger at the gym to spot me on bench and bumped up my PR—up15lbs since the last time I asked someone to spot me at the gym (about 6 months ago).16

BMI in 'normal/ideal' range... Bam, no more 'over-weight' numbers!!!30

I have bought a few size 2 pairs of shorts latley. Last summer I was happy to be buying 12's.17

I officially fit into a UK size 14.
This is monumental for me, coming down from a size 26.
I've bought two pairs of jeans tonight that I thought it's something to aim towards, but tried them on tonight and they fit perfectly!27 -
Saw my doctor today, first time I’ve had blood work since before I lost weight. My cholesterol went down 50 points (244-194)!28

Fit into my son’s youth large Darth Vader costume...and wore said costume to the public library with my kids for summer reading. Except that I was about 2 inches too tall, the thing fit fine, and at least my mask hid my identity 😆
Soon to be second NSV...eating one of the most delicious homemade chocolate chip cookies and putting the rest away. In the chest freezer. In the garage. Under some deer meat.18 -

I usually stash chocolate for treats in the refrigerator freezer upstairs. Just realized I should stash it in the basement freezer. That will require more effort to retrieve it. Thanks for that idea, @gradchica27
BTW - those cookies look like the BOMB!

I volunteered today at our church's community resource center. Someone I've been going to church with for at least ten years approached me. She seemed surprised. She said at first she didn't think it was me, and then asked how much weight I've lost. I told her, and she said no wonder she didn't recognize me.
She's known me for ten years, and didn't recognize me.19 -

OMG, that is huge!! Solid work - yay you.👏👏👏3 -
Went to my granddaughters graduation. When I arrived in a tie-at-the-waist top, my daughter said to my daughter-in-law (half jokingly), 'OMG, she's wearing a crop-top' and my daughter-in-law replied (half jokingly) 'bi*ch'. LOL, made my day!!17

Went to Costco and bought a cute sundress for $14.99 in a medium. It was too big! The small fit perfectly. I haven’t worn a small in about 25 years.21

I had a 'hungry' day yesterday, went over my calories, felt the binge hunger come upon me... and didn't give in. Phew!
Additionally, I used a 'free weights clinic' at the gym to check my form for BodyPump. The trainer suggested a couple of improvements I could make in my squats - with the result that last class the instructor was beaming at me as I got noticeably lower. The ache in my glutes and hamstrings the next day tells me I'm working proper hard now
(Also, I had an interview last week with people including an ex-boss who knew me at my fattest. He knew I'd lost weight because of my LinkedIn photo - but he was still unable to say anything but 'wow'. I feel a little smug.)27 -
I can back squat more than I weigh.25

Seeing a hint of my ankles!19
