SW - 171.1 lbs
UGW - 125 lbs
06/02 - 167.0 lbs - feeling super bloated and painful but I’m about today force a healthy breakfast and then head off to work. When I weighed myself last night I was 171.1 lbs so I’m happy to see that wasn’t my real weight, although it’s still higher than I’d like.
06/03 - 166.8 lbs ( -0.2 lbs ) - happy to see the number go down, even in the tiniest amount. It’s now my TOM and last week was a super bad time for me, so I’m hoping if I stay on track this week, next week will bring me good things.
06/04 - DNW - had a super busy morning and forgot to weigh and didn’t want to weigh after I had eaten lunch, but I believe it would have stayed relatively the same.
06/05 - 164.5 lbs ( -2.3 lbs ) - though I know this is likely not a real loss, it’s still surprising to see considering my TOM bloat and the fact I had a few drinks last night.
06/06 -164.6 lbs ( +0.1 lbs ) - have a pretty stressful day ahead so I really hope to be able to keep on track. I guess we’ll see.
06/07 - DNW - forgot once again. I passed my road test yesterday so now I am less stressed and can focus on being healthy again
06/08 - 166.6 lbs ( +2.0 lbs ) - extremely bloated and have been eating pretty badly. I’m going to work on staying on track this weekend

This round my goal is to reach 205!
6/2 – DNW - Sundays are my active rest days! Went for a walk to the coffee shop in the morning and walked home from there. Ended the day with 14,809 steps!
6/3 – DNW - SAC test at my gym, finished the challenge in 19 minutes, 4 minutes longer than allowed but proud of myself for finishing! Next test is start of July, hoping to beat my current time! 15,222 steps
6/4 – DNW - Push, Pull day at the gym. 14,119 steps
6/5 – DNW - 45 minutes of burpees at the gym (DEAD) had tacos and ice cream with my family after. 15,349 steps
6/6 – 209.6 - 1 week back at exercise and tracking diligently every day. Disappointed to see the number move down only slightly. Tomorrow is my official weigh in day. 16,133 steps
6/7 –209.4 - still a little upset that I didn't even lose 1lb my first week. Trying not to let it slow me down, still got up and walked before work this morning and have gym plans tonight! Did partake in National donut day this morning but not going to let that throw off my whole day! 14,142 steps
6/8 –208.6 - moving in the right direction. Working out at 9 and hoping to stay pretty active today. I’d like to get my house cleaned, laundry done and grocery shop! Hoping the rain clears up and I can go on a nice afternoon walk and maybe to a church festival tonight! Anyone else love church festivals in the summer? Dumb games and “gambling” for days!!!

UGW - somewhere in the mid-130's. Will see what's attainable when I get in the 130's
Goal for round 79 - get in 130’s and stay there!
6/2 -140.2. Shocked it didn’t go up as I took a day off completely from tracking. Even ate fast food for dinner. Guess it could show on the scale tomorrow, will see. Happy right now!
6/3 - 140.4. Wins yesterday: 2 workouts (just happened I met two different friends for active activities on the same day), but I did not track food and I don’t think I drank enough water. Back to tracking today with that goal of seeing the 130’s on a regular basis.
6/4 - 140.4. Holding steady. Time to tighten up that tracking and get myself in those 130's. Wins yesterday: 5 mile run, 3 mile walk. Ate out for lunch so a little heavier meal, but tried to balance that with a lighter dinner.
6/5 - 140.2. Wins yesterday: HIIT class and 3 mile walk. Didn’t eat great (hello, Oreo thin mints) but stayed in a deficit. Stuck in the low 140’s, need to avoid those Oreos today.
6/6 - 140.2. I really am stuck! Wins yesterday: bodypump class (which I don't love, but went because it fit the time I had free and a friend convinced me to go), 1 mile run afterward because it was global running day, and about 5 miles walked. Thought I did OK with food, stayed in a deficit. Need to get this number to drop.
6/7 - 139.3. It might be a false low, I donated blood yesterday. Wins yesterday: RPM class, donated blood so I hydrated well. I did have the cookies after donation though 😉.
6/8 - 140.2. That’s the number of the round apparently! But it’s on me and completely expected. Went out for Mexican last night so I ate much heavier than usual and had a little ice cream too. And no exercise due to blood donation the day before. Back to the grind today.

6/2: 139.5 #
6/3: 139 # I'm sequestered in a week long problem solving group at work. They have bagels in the morning and sugary snacks for the afternoon of course. I'm glad to say that I was able to resist them both today with the luck of planning and bringing my own healthy foods in. The cookies were right in front of me during the wrap up - yikes! Let's see how this week goes.
6/4: 139.5 #
6/5: 139 # still resisting those evil sugary snacks in the work group room; bringing in my own healthy snacks seems to be helping.
6/6: 139 # one more day of a crazy work week, holding steady
6/7: 138.5 # that’s my incentive to keep focused today
6/8: 139 # This was expected, I enjoyed bread and wine for dinner and was over my calorie target yesterday. I think I need to set my goal for the rounds a little more realistic - aiming at 1 pound in 10 days.

06/02 didn’t come across this challenge until June 3
06/03- 182.6: decent day, no sweets.
06/04- 181.6: horrible eating day. Started off really well but worked from home and ate a ton of junk. I paid for it later with an upset tummy 😠 . New day tomorrow
06/05 - 180.6: made up for yesterday's poor eating day. I did have some chocolate but it was within my calorie allotment. Working from home again today and will try to keep my eating under control. I've been trying to get more sleep too but had to stay up for the basketball game - GO RAPTORS!
06/06 -180. Trying to drink water. A bit snacky and despite going over my calories, I still dropped. I am hoping to loose one more pound by June 11.
07/06 - 180. Did well not snacking last night, especially because I was watching the raptor game and there was chocolate out. The tough part will be this weekend when I'm around the house. I'd really like to get down to 178 by June 22nd. It will be a battle because PMS will set it before then and I tend to get really bloated. Need to investigate into food that will help curb bloating.

Day/Weight/Comment
06/02 – 144.5 – No surprise, we had family over that we hadn't seen in several months and they wanted Chinese and pizza. What the grandson wants, the grandson gets and I couldn’t pass it up. I'll have to work extra hard this week to make up for the extra calories.
06/03 – 144 – I ate much better today, but I have Monday’s off work during the summer and I can’t seem to get my water in when I’m home. Hopefully it doesn’t go back up tomorrow.
06/04 - 143 – Nice to see after a long weekend!
06/05 – 143 – I’m glad to see there was not a bounce this morning. Now to try to get down another half pound or so before another party we’re having on Saturday.
06/06 - 143 – I bundled up 10 trash bags of clothes sized from 12 to 18 and put them out for donation pick up this morning. Now if I gain back any significant weight, I will be forced to pay for it in more than one way.
06/07 – 142.5 – Nice start to the weekend.
06/08 – 143.5 – Late night dinner with plenty of salt. We’re having a party tonight so I’ll watch what I eat today and try to drink plenty of water.

This round my goal is to reach 170 and incorporate more exercise into the mix. – Here we go!
6/2 – 172.0 – Spent the day cleaning out the shed. Not going to lie, sore today but so pleased this task is completed!
6/3 – 171.8 – The day did not go as planned and I was not very careful with my food choices. Today I will choose to be more diligent.
6/4 – 171.2 – Glad to see a little movement down this round. Yay! Did 17,500 steps yesterday by cleaning out the house again. I think I have a few more days of sorting then packing up the rest. I am thankful for the built in workout! LOL
6/5 – 172.8 – Emotional day all around. Led to eating too much food that my body does not need. I am disappointed, however at this point I just need to face the reality and today make a better choice.
6/6 – 171.6 – I had a better day and was more conscious of my food choices. Today hoping to get another long walk in and move some boxes around. Here is to a good day!
6/7 – 171.6 – Pleased it did not go up! Mowed 4 acres of lawn and Mom had a few Dr’s Appts. Hoping to get more steps in today. Here is to another day of tiny wins!
6/8 – 170.4 – Now to keep this momentum! Enjoy the moments of the day everyone!

Round 8! I'm looking forward to walking outside more this round. My goals are to track at least 10,000 steps a day, drink at least 45 oz of water (not including non-calorie drinks like coffee or Coke Zero), and weighing in one pound less than I did at the beginning of the challenge.

Day/Weight/Comment
06/02 182.0 lb I tracked 14,065 steps and had 20 oz of water. Dinner was a lovely grilled steak at my fiance's parent's house. We're heading to my parents for the afternoon and then we'll take the dog for a walk and probably get take out for dinner.
06/03 183.2 lb Lazy day yesterday. I tracked 4,595 steps and didn't drink any actual water. I had one glass of wine, three beers, and a fried fish sandwich for dinner. Today, I'm getting back on track. I have my meals planned through dinner, I have a full water bottle, and I'm exercising at home between work and the last band boosters meeting of the year.
06/04 183.2 lb 10,751 steps were tracked and I had about 50 oz of water. I'm going to the gym this afternoon and then I have wind ensemble rehearsal from 7:00-9:00. We're having baked eggplant parm for dinner, so I'll keep my snacking to a minimum to be able to enjoy a nice serving. The weather has been lovely to walk in! I have a sorta NSV to report. Growing up, we always had overweight pets because we loved to give them treats. At my most recent vet check-up with my dog, the vet noted that she is a perfect weight and had lost some weight since our last visit. She's been my walking buddy for the last few months and I think all that exercise has positively impacted her!
06/05 182.6 lb 13,420 steps were tracked and I had 44 oz of water. I burned 300 calories on the elliptical at the gym and came in under calorie goals. I'll be doing an exercise dvd between work and pub trivia tonight and I'll be having leftover eggplant parm instead of bar food for dinner.
06/06 179.2 lb Just barely made my step goals with 10,558 steps. I had 54 oz of water and I completed level one of the 30 Day Shred. I'll be going to the gym after work and it's my night to cook dinner, so calories are completely under my control today. I'd love to see this weight again tomorrow!
06/07 180.8 lb I made my step goals and burned 300 calories at the gym yesterday. I'm taking my middle schoolers to a music festival today and then we're at an amusement park for 5 hours. I charged my Fitbit last night and forgot it on the charger, so no step tracking today.
06/08 180.8 lb Pretty pleased! I only had 37 oz of water and I know I made my step goal because I can feel it in my legs today. I had a small order of fries, a small slush, and half of a milk shake at the park and then I went out for Mexican food with my fiance. After catching up on yardwork, we're planning on going to a food truck festival today, so I'm having coffee for breakfast and I'll see if I feel like having dinner tonight. I'll be focusing on water intake and I won't be surprised to see a gain tomorrow, but hopefully it will be low.

@kmfeig87 Welcome back, Trina! You’ve got this! I surpassed my original WW Lifetime goal from 1985 and I’m still creeping down. Glad you’re back!4

I’m new to this challenge and jumping in a little late. I’m 51 years old, female, 5’7 and started getting serious on MFP about 10 days ago. I’m in the midst of a couch to 5K program and really enjoying it.
Starting weight: 186 (as of about 10 days ago)
Goal weight, eventually: 150
NSV goal: Goal this round: increase endurance while running and to stay on top of logging
6/4…182.4. Felt pretty good about this, though I felt like I was cheating the scale by weighing myself after I ran first thing this morning, so little water intake and before breakfast. It still counts, I think!
6/5…181.5. I’ll take that! I like this result in particular because I met a friend out for lunch on 6/4 and I thought the sodium might have an impact. I really slogged through a 45-minute walk/run today. I felt so sluggish and low energy, but we’re going out tonight, so I need to.
6/6…182.0 I confess: I had beers aplenty last night plus a late-night slice of chocolate cake. We had a blast. No regrets at all.
6/7…182.4 Migraine last night and no exercise yesterday, so I’m not surprised. Did my 45 minutes of running/walking today and burned off some calories. Legs feeling strong.
6/8…182 Got up and ran first thing. This is my weight after running; I probably weighed more before I ran, but I’m sticking with this one. My 15th day of logging in, which is my longest stretch. (I know others of you are so diligent and have done this for hundreds or thousands of days. I’m getting there!) Saturday is traditionally a pizza day in our household, so I know I’ll have that to navigate.

What we need to succeed is a sustainable way of eating, not a DIET we go on and off.
This is NOT A DIET. It’s a LIFESTYLE.
6/1 124.5
6/2 125.0 No movement yesterday and not nearly enough water because I never left the house!
6/3 124.5 Yesterday champagne brunch at 1pm. OMAD Finally warm enough to go to water fitness today! Yay!! Then gym this afternoon with Amy.
6/4 123.5 I went to water “aerobics” and mentioned later to DH that I thought it was not properly named as my average heart rate was 95. Somewhat disappointed to see that that 45 minutes plus walking to and from the pool counted for NO active minutes! Glad I met Amy at the gym in the afternoon even though it was short. My right leg is bothering me again a little. Again OMAD, sunflower seeds in the evening.
6/5 124.0
6/6 124.5 My allergies are getting me down. Had migraine-ish headache yesterday afternoon so skipped the gym. I’m not sleeping well and just feel yuck. I can’t get on the Community boards. I get a message that I can’t connect to the server. It let me log my weight on the graph. It’s not my phone since I haven’t had a problem with any other apps or websites. I’ll try again later.
6/7 124.0 I wish I could sleep at night!
6/8 122.5 🤷♀️ Yesterday was water fitness and Golden Corral for dinner.

I’m ready for June and to get going on another round. I have absolutely no plans of traveling or taking time off of work in this round, so hoping to make some progress and see a new low! Would love to finally see that ever allusive 145.xxx!
06/2 - 148.7 same as yesterday which means I did well on a Saturday. Need to make some progress this month so I am really going to try and be good.
06/3 - 148.7 yeah!! Stayed the same through the weekend. On track today so far and hoping to see 147 something tomorrow. My daughter turns 17 today officially so we are doing enchiladas and cheesecake for dinner. Saving all my calories today for tonight and may only have a bite of the dessert. I am also doing my enchiladas without tortillas so that should save me on some of the carbs.
06/4 - 148.7 Still (4th day in a row), WTH! Stuck to my plan for dinner. I did my enchiladas over a bed of lettuce while everybody else had normal ones and I only had 3 bites of cheesecake without chocolate or caramel sauce versus an entire piece. Did well with water and no alcohol.
06/5 - 147.7 Finally some movement on the scale and luckily it's in the right direction! Staying on track and hoping for the best this month. I am 1.2 pounds away from my lowest weight last month (146.5), so waiting to see if I can make it back there this round. I ate a banana this morning for breakfast because I was running late and almost fell over when I entered it and found out how many carbs and calories there are in them. Guess I won't be grabbing that on the go anymore, should have taken the green apple. Oh well, lesson learned.
06/6 - 147.7 Well I can say this has probably been the most consistent round I have ever had. My hubby picked me up from work for a surprise lunch today and I am happy to say I did not blow the entire day. I had a burger wrapped in lettuce instead of a bun and a side salad instead of fries at Red Robin. It was not as good as the alternative, but I am really trying to break through this plateau I have been on. I have been super good, so I did what I needed to do. Hopefully I can see a pretty good drop soon. I have started tracking my steps as of yesterday too, so I am working up to 10,000 steps a day.
06/7 - 147.1 My scale couldn't really decide what it wanted to settle on. So I picked the middle number. It went from 147.7 all the way down to 146.8 and then 147.1. After my husband surprised me with lunch yesterday, he then decided he wanted sushi for dinner (my favorite but a killer on my sodium level). For some reason he really thinks he likes it, but decides every time he doesn't, so it's a rare occasion we ever eat it. He is so funny some times, he was in a weird mood all day yesterday. On track today with food/water and working on my step count. I didn't realize how hard it would be to get 10,000 steps a day as an accountant, but I'm trying. Today during a 15 minute conference call, I did laps in my office around my desk and chair. I ended up making a little obstacle course yesterday with different things in my office to get some extra steps. Yesterday I ended with just over 7,000, so my goal is to get at least 7, 500 - 8,000 today. I have to find creative ways to move and walk when I work at a computer for 8-9 hours a day.
06/8 - 147.1 did good yesterday. Only did about 6700 steps, so I will have to do better. Had issues all day at work, so getting up and doing laps was really hard. Getting ready for my sons graduation party today. So lots of shopping and cooking are on my to do list. We are expecting about 50-60 people so should be a good day. Cooking is my downfall, because I taste test everything about 20 times. So I’m going to try and be really good today and control my snacking/taste testing while I cook.

6/2: 193.4 (A slight gain which is expected on the weekend. I had a graduation party I went to last night so I ate a controlled amount that I preplanned. No workout yesterday as well. I really want to make my goal this round so I can get a gym membership!)
6/3: 192.8 (I had a very tough time during my 5K training last night. Part of my running is uphill since the areas around my house are very hilly and around my entire town. 3 of the minutes I am panting for breath but getting more and more used to it. I still was able to do 6 minutes of continuous jogging which is a very huge success. Last night I made potato corn chowder for dinner.)
6/4: 191.2 (It's on the way down! I am at my last Friday weigh in and I'm hoping to finally see the 190's tomorrow? Maybe? Crossing my fingers! I made poblano chicken with rice last night and I did a 30 minute TurboFire workout.)
6/5: 190.4 (Finally the 190's!!! I've been waiting for like a month for this and now it's here and I was so close to making my goal! I did a 5K training workout yesterday. The plan I have has me doing a recovery week so I had to run 3 minutes instead of 6 yesterday, which was super easy. I made chicken noodle soup and garlic bread last night. Yum!)
6/6: 189.4 (I am in the 180's! New decade and I can now get a gym membership as my reward! I am going to a LA Fitness by my house to sign-up tomorrow and I can't wait to finally get some classes in! I'm so happy I stuck with it after having a tough month with hardly any new lows. Last night I did a 55 minute TurboFire workout and ate some pork chops with potatoes. Now onto my next goal )
6/7: 189.0 (Another drop in weight I was not expecting since I'm SUPER sore from my TurboFire workout 2 days ago and my very difficult uphill 6 minute jog with a 24 minute walk. I'm hurting all over! I had pizza for dinner last night and some popcorn. My hubby and I were catching up on a show last night and it's almost Friday, so why not! I lost a total of 30.2 pounds today and that is a huge accomplishment for me!)
6/8: 189.8 (I went to a Mexican restaurant with a friend to catch up and for the first time I had a skinny margarita which was super good! I ate half of my food and had a coup of soup. Overall, I think that was successful! I didn’t do a workout yesterday.)

Day/Weight/Comment
06/02 – 244.6 lbs. – recouping from celebrating over the weekend. I laid around most of the day with my legs elevated.
06/03 – 243.9 lbs. – (Down Down Down) The plan for today is C25K Week 6 Day 2. I brought my lunch and I will make sure I get 6 cups of water in today. Then, I will complete 25 Burpees, 45 Squats, 45 Crunches and 35 Plank Jacks.
06/04 – 242.3 lbs. – (YAAASSS! New LOW!) And the celebration calories have been officially worked/burned off. I plan to do a long walk today. Then, I’m thinking about doing the Brittne Babe workout. I believe I have her volume 7. For lunch, I’m having a salad with chicken. Keep up the great work everyone.
06/05 – 242.6 lbs. – Ok well, I’m extremely sore today. So, I’m going to blame it on that. I need to make sure I get my water intake in today. Today is C25K W6 D3 (22 min jog). I can do it. I didn’t bring lunch so, I’ll have to find a good salad.
06/06 – 241.0 lbs. – (YES, YES,YES) It rained yesterday, but I still managed to do that 22 minute run for the C25K program. Today, I’m thinking about doing my Brittne Babe workout since it’s supposed to rain/storm this afternoon.
06/07 – 243.6 – Welp, there’s that chicken and waffles. I’ll do better. C25K W7 D1 today if the rain slacks up before 10pm. Probably a salad for lunch since I haven’t had it the past two days I was supposed to or a sub. I didn't enjoy the Brittne Babe Wol. 7 workout as much as I thought. So I'm going back to what I have been doing for the last month.
06/08 - 238.4 - (whoop whoo) yes!! Completed that 25 minute run from yesterday today. Feeling great. I am going to finish this round under 240 like I planned.

06/02 …..195.6 …..
06/03 …..194.8 ….. Yesterdays stats: 1178 Calories In / 3386 Calories Out. 24 Net Carbs. 21,288 Total Steps & 9.04 Total Miles. IF 20:4. 13/13 Fitbit Step Hours. I slept 6 hours & 22 minutes. I took a 23 minute walk before starting my busy work day.
06/04 …..194.8 ….. Yesterdays stats: 1587 Calories In / 2427 Calories Out. 64 Net Carbs. 11,156 Total Steps & 4.73 Total Miles. IF 16:8 13/13 Fitbit Step Hours. I slept 4 hours & 17 minutes. I danced a 44 minute dance set. Sample song was “My Generation” by The Who.
06/05 …..195.2 ….. This was a very bad day for me. So busy & all grab & go. I guesstimated over 2000 calories in & over 125 Net Carbs so the gain makes sense. Other stats: 2718 Calories Out. 14,511 Total Steps & 6.14 Miles. IF: 18:6 13/13 Fitbit Step Hours. I slept 5 hours & 7 minutes. I danced 25 minutes in my small space of boxes. Sample song: “Bad Company” by Bad Company.
06/06 …..194.7 ….. Yesterdays stats: 1692 Calories In / 2303 Calories Out. 71 Net Carbs. 10,531 Total Steps & 4.41 Total Miles. IF 16:8. 12/13 Fitbit Step Hours. I slept 6 hours & 12 minutes & woke up refreshed. I did 18 minutes on my brother’s elliptical.
06/07 …..194.7 ….. I think I may be holding water. Not drinking enough & shedding very little which is unusual for a diabetic. Weight holding steady without even a tiny drop. I will work on water today. Yesterday’s stats: 1616 Calories In / 2341 Calories Out. 63 Net Carbs. 10,486 Total Steps & 4.44 Total Miles. IF 16:8 . 13/13 Fitbit Step Hours & 6 hours & 9 minutes & woke up refreshed. No planned exercise yesterday but lots of general labor here at the motel & cabins. Have a great weekend everyone!
06/08 …..194.5 ….. I Love every drop of my drop! Calories were good, Carbs a little high again but overall a good day which found me working on disturbing emergencies at the cabins & on my feet all day. I managed to fit in some planned exercise before the frenzy set in. I came very close to eating my emotions last night & decided instead to have some cubed cheddar cheese & a square of 90% cacao dark chocolate and some water. So glad I did. I am keeping within my desired calories but inching over my carbs. I’ve got to make better choices in my foods, clearly. Yesterdays stats: 1384 Calories In / 2876 Calories Out. 71 Net Carbs. 18.148 Total Steps & 7.68 Total Miles. IF 17:7. 13/13 Fitbit Step Hours. I slept 5 hours & 34 minutes in a bad up & down night of sleep due to being troubled over cabin emergencies. I walked 33 minutes at leisurely pace and I danced for 25 minutes. Sample song: “Hold on I’m Comin’” by Sam & Dave which helped me get my groove on, at least for awhile until #5 & #6 Duplex cabin flooded with broken pipe in the wall after plunging a connected clog. Now…..to find a plumber in this one horse town. Had to cancel reservations so this is already costly enough. (Dear Husband, I need you again. Won’t God let me borrow you, just for a moment???? }. Focusing on the health today. Yay, I dropped a bit & I feel like I will do well today. I hope to get in some prep cooking. Sorry, long post. Just want everyone to know that even on horrific days, we can make small changes to those old routines and not completely blow our plan.

Day/Weight/Comment
6/2--207.0 It was actually weird this morning to get up and not go to the gym, I usually go today and workout on my own but since my hip is hurt my my trainer does not want me to work out by myself...I can't wait to go to PT on Tuesday and hopefully get some answers. I did go out for a short walk this morning and will go out again today, but I still need to be careful. Going to work at getting water in today.
6/3--206.7 Don't know if this weight will stick. Didn't drink much water today, I'm just hoping to hold steady with my weight until I figure out what is going on with my hip.
6/4--206.7
6/5--206.5 Went to PT yesterday. The PT said that my hip is not going to get any worse and a lot of the pain I am feeling is because I am hypersensitive to the injury since this is my first injury ever. I worked out with my trainer and included the PT exercises and my hip is feeling better already. But most importantly the worry that there's something more to my hip pain and that I may not be able to ever run/hike/bike again is now gone.
6/6--205.9 Was stressed yesterday and did some evening snacking. First time in awhile that I've done that much snacking, luckily there isn't that much snack food in the house so it could have been worse. I've been doing the PT exercises and so far so good...trainer tonight.
6/7--207.0 Not surprised about the bump up since I've been eating closer to maintenance the last couple of days. Going out for lunch today and then out to happy hour later...working to get my water in today.
6/8--207.6 Not surprised about the jump after happy hour yesterday. Going to see nutritionist today and going to take the dog out for a long walk.

Day/Weight/Comment
6/2 148, traveling yesterday in a car so ate within calories. but ate McDonald’s for lunch and pizza for dinner so salt was more than usual. I tweaked my neck sleeping so hopefully will feel better in the afternoon to go workout
6/3 147.5, today will be busy, but everything is prepped so should be a good day
6/4 147.6, going to mini golf after work with some colleagues. I managed to get a strength and conditioning class and 60 minutes on elliptical so hoping to be closer to my end weight of round 78 by the end of the week.
6/5 147.2, managed to be good with diet until dinner last night. Going to the opera tonight and having dinner nearby (already picked out what I’m eating). Not as sore as I usually am after a strength class so probably can fit in a 60 minute elliptical machine workout
6/6 146.5, hoping to stay as good on my diet and exercise plan through the weekend. Finally back to where I was at the end of round 78 (although I think that weight was an outlier since my moving average line is still going down at 147)
6/7 146, some days I get discouraged with how slow the weight loss process is and I feel like the number on the scale doesn’t reflect how hard I’m working. This particular challenge is good for helping through those days because I’m inspired by so many others who are trying to do the same thing I am- be healthier and stronger
6/8 146.6, given the way I ate and drank yesterday night I’m pretty happy with this number. I went with a friend to see a musical and we had dinner at a Mexican restaurant and shared some appetizers and drinks. Really fun and not typical so going back to normal diet today and tomorrow. Really hoping to end round with a 145.x, but will be hard since round ends so close to a weekend.

Joining a bit late this round, but I know better than to wait to start until the next one!!
Hi. My name is Trina. I started this challenge round 54, was pretty consistent, and then got lost somewhere mid Round 74. The scale slowed down a bit, but now I think I am on the move again. I am now 6-8 pounds till goal weight, and hoping to get there in the next couple of months. Trying to keep focused on losing, while also looking ahead to maintenance. I've been feeling great, and feeling great exercising, and not feeling food restricted, so all of those things are good! Let's all have a wonderful 10 days of making great choices!!

06/02 - 181.2 - I had a 2.2 lb loss on my first round. I have areas to improve and weekends tend to be the most challenging for me. I'm slowly getting used to being back at work and need to increase my stamina to walk in the evening.
06/03 - 182.2 - Most likely the weekend catching up with me. I need to be more disciplined. I'll get there.
06/04 -
06/05 - 182.0 - I was a little better yesterday, however, still room for improvement. The weekend comes so quickly and I better have a game plan in place for it!

06/08 - 181.5 - Well I am almost at my starting weight from the beginning of the round. I am making better food choices and drinking more water.

THERE ARE NO QUICK FIXES OR SHORTCUTS to achieving permanent change.
REMINDERS One or two thoughts which might give heart to some of you.- Daily weight fluctuations are normal, and can be as much as 2 lbs a day for no apparent reason.
- A general downward trend is what we are looking for.
- Eating out can cause apparent weight gain because of high sodium levels, but usually goes quickly. Drinking extra water helps with this.
- The human body does not react instantly to what we do to it. Sometimes it can take several days to see results.
- Plateaus are a normal part of the process. The body is consolidating and adapting to your new way of eating/exercising.
- The closer you get to your goal weight, the more difficult it becomes to lose weight, as your body becomes more efficient at using what you feed it.
- When you exercise you build muscle, which takes up less space than fat, so use measurements as well as weight to assess your progress.
- Getting/Staying fit and healthy requires a lifestyle change for most people.
