NSV this weekend, taking my four-legged son (Patches) on a walk this Saturday on the beach it turned into a jog. The total was about four miles and we jogged about three of it. This was my first time that I pushed it since my surgery in February and actually my first time running in about two years.
I've tested it a few times with a short jog with the dog, we hopped over a log in the fog. Sorry I had to get all Dr. Seuss there.
I jogged about a quarter mile during an earlier walk and I meant only to go about a half or so this time. However, it felt so good and nothing was bothering me so I kept going and before I knew it I was about a mile and a half down the beach. We turned around and I ran a little further back.
My little buddy did really good on the run and in fact I think he thoroughly enjoyed it. I may have my new running partner.

My boyfriend gave me a wonderful compliment this weekend. Since we've been together my weight has fluctuated from a high of 215 pounds and a low of 148 pounds. On Friday he said my body looks better now that it ever has. I'm 22 or 23 pounds heavier than my lowest weight but I was doing water aerobics and no weight lifting at all and now I'm walking and doing weights once a week. While I weighed less my body composition was "rounder" and less muscular. It was pretty good to hear with my 50th birthday coming up that he finds me more attractive than he did 15 years ago. Sure he may have been kissing up - but I'm taking it as a win.18

I've been really struggling with binging over the last 6 months or so. Yesterday I went to a supermarket on the way home from work (always a difficult time for self-control) and just bought the cat food I'd gone in for. No biscuits, no crisps, no family pack of doughnuts..... yay!23

I've gotten back into weight lifting for the last month after about three years of being out of it. My body is already changing, including my waist getting smaller. My shirts are getting loose over my belly. Woot!!11

Before weight loss, I wore a size UK14 jeans. I recently tried on a size UK10 and they fit me 😱15

@Mexicangreensalsa Thank you! I figure, if I can find a way to make it fun (for me), then I will be more apt to stick with it. XD7

That I didn't eat any of the donuts in the office kitchen this morning. Nor eat any of the candy in dishes around the office.15

Finishing a half marathon last Sunday. Couldn't run 10 minutes straight 6 months ago.19

My fancy peacock pattern dress actually zips up. The skirt actually flares out instead of hugging my thighs.
I could actually even wear it... outside.
Also if I'm doing this properly, the measuring tape seems to say I've lost three inches around my waist.23 -

I bought some tops in size large today. When I started, I was a 2-3X17

My coworker asked if I got a work jacket in a larger size because mine was looking loose on me 🥰12

Day one met my macros.17

When I began losing at the end of Feb., I had a list of 5 clothing items that it was my goal to fit back into. Slowly I began fitting into each one of them, until there was only one left; a wetsuit I used to wear when ocean kayaking. Today I tried it on, and it fit perfectly again! Now my goal is to maintain this victory until winter, when I want to wear the wetsuit when kayaking on the lake I now live at. This past winter I couldn't kayak at all because I had nothing to protect me from the very chilly water in case of capsize.26

1,000 days logging. Nothing stopped me: not cruises, vacation, work, illness, business travel. Down 175 pounds, maintenance for 8 months.
Thank you MFP peeps. You have motivated and explained and cheered even when you didn’t know it.55 -
I have logged (with measurements even not just eyeballing) at least 95% of my food for the last three days. Even when I knew I was going over my calorie goal I logged the food. Although to be honest, this week I'm not worrying so much about the number so much as just getting back in the habit of measuring/logging17

I'm back on the wagon. I've logged for a week now, and gone to the gym 5 times. Someone posted this workout as their NSV a little while ago and I love it! https://www.drworkout.fitness/fat-loss-gym-workout-plan-for-women-12-week-program/
I have always liked doing weights, but knowing what weights to do was confusing, so I never did them. So this basic plan has really helped me get on track.9 -

That's the plan I just finished a couple weeks ago! I really enjoyed it! Good luck to you!! I definitely get more out of my gym time if I have a good plan of action!1
