End of Month Thoughts: Did not make my June goal, but ended the month with a net loss and a new low. I'll take it - I'm firmly in the 140's, despite a family greet together and a night out with friends!

My average steps have slacked off, as has my strength training routine - but I've had some labor intensive projects going on. They count even when I don't log them. 😏

I have noticed a weight spike immediately following one of those heavy project days. Guessing it's some sort of fluid response to the stress on my body. But I've also noticed I skip the actual exercise routine and don't hawk the steps that day and the day after, which may nite be helping.

My not consuming calories after 8pm has me on a 12 hour IF schedule. We've had a couple of late dinners on project days, so I need to pay closer attention to that as well. I think I will extend my IF 2 hours, to 8pm to 10am, and see if that makes a difference.

To everyone who hit goal - and everyone who hung on there - congrats! See you on the July challenge!

    June Game Plan & Goals:
    • Continue weekly meal planning
    • Log daily in MFP - focus on daily calorie deficit goal of 500 This is very reasonable for me
    • No calorie intake after 8pm
    • Hit Fitbit step goal of 5000, then increase to 6000 - 7 day average 2852
    • Hit active minutes goal of 25 minutes daily, then increase to 30 - 7 day average 43
    • Hit strength building exercise goal of 6 days, then increase to 7 - 7 day average 3

    June Progress:

For those that do the 16:8 IF, I think that it is the other way around, 8 is the eating window and 16 is the fasting window. (8 of the fast should be easy, sleep time)

Celebrate that one pound loss! That's about a quarter pound a week! It could be worse. You could be UP a pound. Or three (like me).

    Happy Sunday!

I missed checking in last week. Finishing the month with a gain. Been through some stress the last couple of weeks, but the issue is resolved, husband left his job and starts another this coming week, so it's all good. Hopefully HE will have less stress going forward. He has an exciting opportunity before him.

Hoping I can stay below 200. Not going lie, I am frustrated and discouraged. I have been here before. I lose to this point and I am stuck. I have only lost 5 pounds in the last 12 months.

But l am still here. See you in the July thread.

Highest weight ever: 254 in October 1999.

Lowest since 1991: 194.4 November 25, 2018, post gallbladder surgery.

Original starting weight: 243 in 2015.

    MFP Starting weight December 25th, 2016: 233.

Goal: 180 in however long it takes. And it's taking a LOT longer than I thought it would!

    Weekly Averages:

    May 27-June 2: 197.7
    June 3 - June 9: 197.3
    June 10 - June 16: 197.9
    June 17 -June 23: 197.8
    June 24- June 30: 198.9. No likey.

Loss for June: 1.2 lbs. GAIN.

    MFP Loss: 34.1 lbs

Total cumulative loss since mid 2015: 44.1 lbs.

    Move more, eat less.

OSW: 242 lbs (Jan '17)MFP; Heaviest 262 (2009) before MFP
    June starting weight: 199.8
    June goal weight: 184--goal met!!
    Ultimate Goal Weight: 160--Anything!

"It's the final countdown...dun dun-dunna dun-dun dun!" (Europe 80s band) Remember that song? lol

Anyway, God is too good!!! June has been just as good! I made some of the biggest landslide whoosh moments since I started this journey, and now, I can't believe I'm down to my final 10 pounds before I start the maintenance process. Ahhhhhh! Just think earlier this month was just 205.0 and now I'm......

6/1: 199.8 (Indulged way too much in May)
    6/3: 205.0 (Lymphedema flare-ups/carbs/water weight)
    ***6/3th-7th: Broth/Tea Detox/Nutrient Fast***
    6/8th: 188.8 Yay!!
    6/15: 183.6 Amen!!
    6/22: 186.0 TOM
6/29: 179.8 woooosh!!!! Amen! Praise the Lord!! I'm in the 170s!!!

I can't believe I'm in the vanity weight-loss stage!! This is when it get super real because you they say the last 10 lbs are the hardest to lose. Well, I'm up for the challenge. My sister's birthday is July 1st, I will celebrate and enjoy myself just that day only--but I'm going to get back on track the next day! I've come too far to mess this momentum up! I lost 20+ lbs in one month! Albeit a lot of it was due to edema fluid/weight but, still, it's a major loss and most importantly, I feel great!!

    Onward to July!!
    All glory to Jesus Christ!!

    Sooooooo happy for you!!!!

    Jenn 😁

Thanks so much Jenn for your support. I just had to get out of my comfort zone. I asked myself, "How bad do you want this? Enough that I just had to let go of few habits in order to finally see results. Believe me, Jenn it's worth it! Hang in there.

Lol I got so close. I think I was just a little sloppy with my eating this month in general. I need to tighten up my game.
July is a planned maintenance month with a relaxed vacation mid month. If I can clean up and focus before and after I’d like to get to 150 this month.
