When someone cuts you off, mid-sentence, to start talking to the person you're already having a conversation with. This happens at my work all the time! Unfortunately, it seems to be a cultural thing here. Drives me bonkers!2

Chocolate chips on brownies. What's the point?
It's a *kitten* brownie. It's made of chocolate.
Why you gotta put chocolate chips on top for, silly? Now instead of biting into this soft, moist confection with it's uniform texture, I gotta mulch through some hard *kitten* chocolate chips. Keep it simple & classic.
I'll still eat it but you shouldn't have done that.
so true. I blame Pinterest.2 -

People who don't pull forward to the next pump. I'm right behind you and there's no one at the pump in front of the one you've stopped at. I know you can feel my glare...5

Pet peeve is not the right sentiment for what I feel about teaching children that their value is based on how others judge them, especially on their physical appearance! I find this culture absolutely disgraceful and damaging.10 -

When people keep asking the same question over and over ad nauseum hoping someone will finally give them the answer they want to hear.
Blah, blah, blah frigging blah. Shut up already. 😞3 -
Mobile phone zombies, walking along the road texting and bumping into everyone. One walked in the road without looking and caused a cyclist to have an accident avoiding her. Bloody idiots. 😡2

People who type "loosing" when they mean "losing". "Loosing" is actually not a word. Happens a lot on MFP and makes me cringe every time.4

Technically all words are made up anyway so.......
That said, the word slippy annoys me....it used to be slippery.

Yes, as well as the general failure to just say "excuse me" when something awkward happens between people.
For example, if you come barreling out of the office bathroom and almost plow me over as I'm walking by, take note - you are wrong because I had the right of way. Acknowledge this. I then unnecessarily said "excuse me" because I was raised with manners and programmed to be polite, but you just gave me a dumb look and then kept walking.
The sum total of these constant small failures to observe etiquette has contributed to the breakdown of basic civility over the past few decades.2 -
When you're planning on going through with cheating on the diet by not logging that piece of cake you're planning on having but the market doesn't have said cake so you find a couple other things to replace the cake with but they kinda suck but you eat them anyway and they're sooooooooooo not worth the calories so you decide to get that piece of cake the next day but the market still doesn't have any.
I really hate that.4 -
