47, walked into my YMCA weight room for the first time yesturday. Was terrified, but had my printed out suggested workout routine from some website in hand and gave it a go. Was most likely one of the biggest people in there :( but kept at it.... not a fan of the wall of mirrors. I am seeking suggestions, tips and folks interested in supporting my new step. Anyone out there?

Keep your eyes closed when executing your reps if the mirrors bother you. I find it helps me concentrate on the mind/muscle connection anyway.

I'm a 48 year old lifter! I traded excessive cardio for lifting about 2 years ago. It completely changed my body. I'd love to have you as a friend!
