    ..and I've just had to buy myself two new knee braces as my knees are not coping with a repeat of 30DS L1 :( The only medicine that works is ibuprofen which I can't take at the moment as it's on my list of possible IBS triggers. The walking tends to help my knees normally, but today I'm suffering a bit and I'm all grumpy because of it. I had had three operations because of chondramalatia patella ( supposedly a sports injury, but I was the least sporty teen ever!!) by the time I was 16, but nothing since, although I was told I would need further surgery.

    Anyway, there are people worse off than me so I shouldn't moan, but I do feel a little better for it!! I will try to get out for a walk tonight.

    EDIT: I know that I've just spent a while moaning about my knees after having logged 540 jumping jacks in the last 4 days, it's not lost on me!!!!!

    Curlyjane--I've been running for about 7 weeks. I've been doing couch to 5k, but I'm still doing variations of week 5. I'm having trouble building up my stamina, but I refuse to give up! Also, HUGE victory today because I ran a mile straight through :D Probably for the first time ever in my life!

    hey all ur all doing so well and there's noway any of you would be kicked out....

    LOL Really? So Sweet!!! WE are still in the dark on what is going on with my system at the momment. (some think i'm pregnant, and my mother in law thinks my galbladder is acting up) Either way we still have to wait at least 3 more weeks to know for sure (regarding the first possiblity). Still getting sick when i eat and a night when i lay down. Not so bad as it was a few days ago. I'm trying to stay moving around and avoiding food i know will get me in trouble. But as for my origional "diet" i was eating well, not now. Now its whatever i can get and however much of it i can get until i feel sick (which is ususally a few bites)SOO doing as well as can be expected!!

    I've also weighed myself every day this week except yesterday, so a fail there too! No appetite this week though, struggling to eat at all. :)

    i started the 30DS today and boy does she push you even tho its only 20mins. but she makes u do lots of star jumps :)

    hi all, sorry to say exercise did not happen this week, i only managed 1 x 6 mile run - too many disturbances with work, i will try harder next week!
    i will try and go out for a run tomorrow.

    I'm not very happy with the week i had. I had to weigh in on friday this week and I'm up 2lbs :(. But it's my TOM so hopfully it's just water weight but I wouldn't be suprised if it isn't. I have been eating very bad. New week this week though and no more junk food! (except for my weekly treat)

    Not a great week last week, going to focus on water, walking, not weighing myself daily and upping my fibre this week.

    Thank you for the lovely coment on my weight loss, tonilizzy, but it should be remembered that I am heavier than most of you, so it reflects as a greater loss, as a percentage it's not looking so good!!! You did so fantastically well with the challenges last week, I'm quite envious of your obvious dedication! Did you run with curlyjayne?

    1lb loss is fantastic curlyjayne! I wish I'd done a 6 mile run. I did jog a little on one of the walks last week rather than just walking, so as I know I can jog a bit I may give the C25K program a go when I have better trainers (not an excuse, my current trainers are about 2 years old, if not older, and not very good at all - I'm pushing my luck doing the 30DS in them!).

    Leanne - I wish I'd done over 23 miles this week - that's brilliant, well done. The gain seems like it's probably water weight, so hopefully a nice big loss for you this week :)

    I worked out what the problem was with my knees (more so than my old trainers anyway). Having tidied out what passed for the medicine cupboard, I found my glucosamine/collagen supplements and my CoQ10 at the back and realised that as I hadn't seen them for almost a month, I hadn't taken any either. This leads me to believe that they probably work and so I've started back on them religiously!

    Looking forward to a good, clean, healthy and energetic week - back on L2 of the 30DS tomorrow too, so some let up for my knees but I'm not looking forward to it. I loved L2 for about the first 3 days last time and now I remember how much I hated it by the end. Still it means L3 isn't far away and that's really good so I shall concentrate on looking forward to that! I'm also getting my hair cut on Tuesday. I wonder if I'll lose weight going for the chop (I have very heavy, long, thick hair)!!!

    Such a lot of typing, I'm amazed the children have left me alone this long. I'd best go see what they're destroying!

    You guys are doing good!! Keep up the good work. Still waiting (got another week at least), Checking in at 165.6 this morning. Losing while not feeling good. Shaking before breakfast, not a good sign this morning. Gotta eat something before it gets worse.

    Hi ladies! Sorry I fell off the planet since Wednesday. My super sweet boyfriend (who lives 800 miles away) flew here and surprised me on Wednesday afternoon. I had a GREAT weekend :) I ate like crap, but didn't do too back. I still lost 0.6 lbs this week. I was so determined to make it a good week too, but it truly was a special occasion so I feel like I have a good excuse. Hopefully, it'll be fairly easy for me to get back to it this week.
