Thoughts: Odd bobble over the weekend. Was down significantly on Saturday and saw a pretty big spike Sunday. Appear to have stabilized this morning. Maybe that was me busting out of Mercury Retrograde. That's as plausible as anything else.
I feel back on track. I've been enjoying the bounty from the farmer's market, and stayed fairly active over the weekend. My husband is recovering from a long and serious health issue. He's been trying to rebuild list strength and joined me on the trail yesterday evening. He rested on a bench while I walked ahead a bit and returned. Then he rested near the car while I made a short loop in the opposite direction. He ended up with a quarter of a mile unassisted. (That's HUGE!) I squirreled a full mile in. He wants to work up to the full trail. This is perfect! I don't like to do the trail alone and this will get me out there more often.

I know it may seem like an aggressive goal this month, but the first few pounds were water weight that I have already dropped. I have started the rp diet app, which really focuses on macros and meal timing based on daily activity and when you work out to maximize fat loss without affecting performance. Looking forward to seeing the results of this. I will be cutting for the next 8 weeks after the unintentional bulk I've been on the last few months.5 -
69 years old female...5'5" ...I used to be 5'7" but arthritis hit and I lost two inches, so now that two inches is squished around my waist like the billows of a big accordion... ...Oh, well. I'll just keep working on it.
Had back surgery June 18th. Just getting back into walking and controlling what goes in my mouth.

I am off to good start! I'm hoping that I can even get 100 workouts for the year at our local gym during this month - 9 more to go.
My husband's birthday went well. I kept myself within limits with lunch and dinner (no breakfast).
Lunch: Korean BBQ - pork belly, thinly sliced beef brisket, short ribs, large portion of veggie mix, a bit of japchae and a bit of steamed rice. Yum.
Dinner: half a 10 oz steak, mashed potatoes, a few cups of water and a bit of a mixed alcoholic drink.
I cannot even imagine being in the 120s. It has been over 3 years since I weighed that much. Keep it up everyone!

Bahahaha it’s either I was still carb bloated and after effects of TOM on the first or I’m dehydrated today. But I’d be pretty happy if I stay under 150 as the scale dances around.

8/7/19:
I have cut my calories per day from probably 2000-2500 (before 6/10/19 I wasn't paying attention at all) to about 1200-1500 per day. I'm having a really hard time fitting exercise into my schedule with 3 kids - 3yrs & 10 month old twins. I'm working really hard on my food intake and getting really discouraged. I'm currently debating about trying IF but I don't want to try taking on too many restrictions at once and getting more discouraged and giving up on everything entirely.3 -

Thoughts: Lots of weight fluctuation in the last week. Happy that there's no overall gain and the trend weight is dropping. I feel back on track with my goals. Still slacking on strength training, but getting more walks in.
Walk #2 with husband last night. We're pushing for 3-4 per week as a goal. It's big progress for him, and it's helping me because I'm still horribly chained to desk. I'm a federal employee and we're coming up on end of fiscal year, so there's a big flurry of activity.
Sister in law is meeting me this evening for another 2 miler - hoping theweather holds out for us.

This weekend was rough but I managed to get my workouts in and still lose 1lb!
Last month started strong but I didn’t do so well the last two weeks. This month I’m going to try to be more consistent.

I'd been hanging at 128/129 at the end of (ok, most of) July. I had wayyyy too much sodium so 8/1 weight was definitely water weight. It's not truly a 5lb loss - just my love of soy sauce 😁6 -
