Hello, does anyone on the site have experience with gastric bypass. I am looking for like minded individuals who have gone through or are going through the process.

I havent but from what ive seen you can lose the weight on your own. Because I have acid reflux I have to eat 6 small meals a day and the meals would probably fit into a small pet dish. Maybe you can just buy a small dish and keep your portions under control but not exceeding the volume ?

Yeah I'm going to the process now with the VA. It is just extremely hard for some people to lose weight and keep it off. So I am actually looking forward to getting it it's just taking forever that's the VA.

Yes, I had gastric bypass surgery in 2016. I’m maintaining a 100 Ib weight loss but, still need to lose more weight. I’m about 60 lbs away from my goal.

I am 5 years post op. Best decision I have ever made. It doesn't solve all the problems and if you don't change your lifestyle it won't stick.
