Approaching the very end of my TOM, and I feel like my cravings have calmed down tremendously, although I've noticed my salt intake has increased, and for someone like myself who has edema issues, that it's not good! So, I'm trying to catch up on my water intake to flush out this excess salt, along with the hormonal water weight. Ultimately, I've decided to put off my next weigh-in until next week, which is plenty of time to rid of any excess "junk". My workouts have been minimal only because physically I just wasn't up for it, however, I'll be kicking it up a notch this weekend, possibly going for a 3 to 3.5 hr hike! whew! I'm ready for it!

August 16 - 158.5 - Maybe I can get in more calorie burning today than I did yesterday (only managed to burn off 262 cal). It seems that I need to burn at least 500 each day to see any kind of results. I rely on Zumba-esque type workouts to get the most burn for the time. Tomorrow is the multi-cultural festival in my town, so I hope to wake up to a good number before sampling the delicious international fare.
August 17 - 157.5 - I consumed 1700 calories yesterday! I did burn 600 calories through exercise, but I am pretty sure that I will show a gain once my slow metabolism catches up. I really need to eat 1200 calories or less and burn a minimum of 500 calories in order to lose any weight.
August 18 - 158.7 - It was very late by the time I got a chance to eat last night. Nevertheless, I am happy to be under 160. Only 12 days left to hit that magical 155, but I have been striving for it for 2 months. It might take me 3 months to lose 5 pounds, but I am determined.
August 19 - 157.4 - I expect this to go up, but had a beautiful calorie laden dinner with Champagne last night, and late. (35% whipping cream sauce, high calorie peanut sauce noodles etc.) The leftovers will need to be eaten in very tiny amounts.

Lol moving in the wrong direction.
I’ve definitely hit a little bit of a wall that I’m not putting too much effort into getting past. I’m eating well and working out hard.
It’s just about TOM so this is always my high weight time. It would be great to go back under 150. It’s up to me to push to my next level.
My husband and I were laughing yesterday when I realized I have “basic kitten” problems. Here I am wearing size 8’s and complaining that mediums are too big, it’s a drag having to keep buying smaller and smaller clothes. How I just want to get to my gosh darn goal already and go shopping. LOL this time last year I was a size 22 with xxl feeling tight, perspective!!!!
I’m going to really try to finish August under 150 but I’m also going to celebrate how far I’ve come.8 -

Really not expecting that! It's true that I'm very good at sticking to a calorie limit. But I think consistent intermittent fasting is what has made the difference. I haven't missed a day yet this month; I switch off between 18/6 and 16/8. It's not for everyone, but it works for me.6 -
