:) I get up between 4 and 5 every morning and enjoy the cool and quiet of the early morning for a long walk.

There's really only one reason I get up at 5 am ... and then I'm back to sleep again about a minute and a half later. :p

I generally make my own binding out of 2.5" strips. I've used the backing on occasion, a lot of it depends on the particular quilt.

Here's one I made for my sister. She gave me a couple of pieces of the fabric that she purchased on a trip to Paris and asked me to make her a quilt. I had to supplement with additional fabric, borders and backing and this is the result. Might I add she loves it :)

    Absolutely love that colour way!

@Lagopus Hi, Penny. Lovely to hear your update. Your trip to the States was very eventful. Glad your mom recovered. 1000 miles! Wowser!

    COMPUTER PROBLEM!
my computer seems to either have a virus or be hacked.it's been doing all sorts of weird things for the past days. I'm able to get around it so far, sometimes by rebooting. I ran Avira on it and no virus or suspect file was detected. I don't know what to do.

maybe I need to bring it to a specialist?

it s a Mac so specialists are fewer or more expensive, though there are certainly several around.

    ARMS AND SHOULDERS
I did mostly arm shoulder and a little core work at the gym again today. anything with left leg seems to cause slight pain in knee with meniscus tear. I'm taking it easy on the left limb till I see a specialist.
so I did some crunches and lots of shoulder and arms and a bit of abs.

one part -I think its the biceps- is super-weak. I can barely do 3 sets of 5 with minimum weight (5k).

other parts are ok. I'm using very little weight but at least can do 3 sets of 10 repetitions on each machine. there are several. I used about 8 or so today, plus some stretches and crunches.

my right shoulder is peachy: strongish, flexible and pain-free. my left shoulder is stiff and not strong and with some pain after sets. about 9 years ago I was in Germany on vacation and got a short massage (maybe 15 min). The guy, who seemed very competent and professional, said my left shoulder was extremely knotted and he seemed concerned, almost alarmed like it needed a LOT of work. I haven't had much pain in it recently though so haven't worried much.

Have to go to another dr apt this afternoon. sort of a formality. not in the mood.will try to be in good spirits and not grouch w doctor.it's not his fault. he's nice enough.

Have your tried to clear your browsing data. I do this on my lap top to keep it working faster. When you do this you may have to reenter Passwords to get to some of your more favorite sites.

Our main computer is slower because of all the files we store there . If you have old files you no longer need you could try deleting those and see if that helps.

I used to have malware bytes on this computer. DS is coming tonight and I am going to see if he can get it back on for me. It helps with ads and makes my laptop run smoother.

I have a few downloads on this computer and I also try to delete them when no longer needed.

Thank you for the comments on the quilt. That's part of the reason I'm working out so hard - I don't want arthritis or heart disease slow me down. Today I'll be at the gym working with my trainer, then my husband wants to go to Costco after lunch, so I'm not sure how much progress I'll make on the quilts I'm working on simultaneously. I just have the top sashing and borders to finish on the king-size quilt before I can start quilting it, and just borders on the flag quilt.

Normally, after working out with my trainer I will do an additional 30 minutes on the elliptical. Today I might just get on the treadmill for a slower walk so I can burn at least 500 calories between the two because tomorrow we plan on a ride that potentially will be 30 miles. I want to be able to do it, so I'm not going to kill myself today.

TeriAz- I love the color Turquoise so I also love lots of blues y greens.

Debby VA-My POS did the same even took babies princess bed for himself! Lol grown man wonder if a pea was under his mattresses? We nicknamed him “fruitloop” so it helped such situations. He asked for what??? Well you know fruitloop he had to have it! Later in court he gave Daughter a Birthday gift in front of the judge. Ummm wasn’t her Bday. Card said For my Daughter (insert wrong name here) on her (wrong age here) Birthday (Wrong date of birth here). Opened it with lawyers y kid well it was our stolen TV remote (Also the Only bday gift she ever got from him). Yeah just insured the kid never wants them again let them dig their holes 🕳 y sit in it alone. He sees she’s gaining strength she’s gone he lost so he’s throwing a Tantrum. Ask the whole family for copies of any fotos they got tell them why make a new album just think of it like a fire 🔥 your helping rebuild. He’s growing out of most of the toys anyways use $200 for a thrift shop to garage sales even eBay y Walmart sales just get newer stuff .Like me she won’t have original cards can make new ones that say congratulations on the birth without POS name on them or a few other items but the new Albums just as good! We cut Daughter hair out baby 1st hair cut on an envelope ✉️ (it is the 1st while free it counts). Copies of lots of fotos y new memories too! I put new stuff in it from her hair ribbon to a flower she gave me. Teeth 🦷 lost went in. I went to landmarks took new pictures. We even as family recreated some! Went to the foto place luckily they saved them printed out new ones. Lots of things you can do trace his hand print for it. Put this on the front page..” The past is the A shadow behind us .The present is our treasure. The Future is tomorrow with Golden things to come. Strength together is strength forever ♾. (Tell then Lawyer y judge sometimes they make abuser pay you for what they destroyed!)

Tired JR farted giggled all night long tried to say gross came out ghoooos so close enough.JR had stinky down pact kept announcing that lol.

Can’t remember my weight today but 158 I think. Brain cloud y cooking chicken. Hubby bought the wrong one again so learning curve I’m feeding him the bad ones lol 😂. He wants his diet to work he needs to take shopping seriously. I’m eating the low calorie ones from before! He will learn might did it on purpose he loves wings.

M in OZ thanks for your feedback. Yes I feel your pain. You also were trying to straighten these types of matters out with an injured husband, working, and going to school. (((Triple hug!!!)))

I wrote out the process of dealing with my situation so that is it can help one of you make the process easier it was worth ranting.

I agree with you M easier to deal with these things before the disasters strike. Like you one of my goals is to leave our estate organized and that our eldest son will be taken care of financially and in a way where he is protected. (It will be done in such a way that his assets will be protected from someone trying to take advantage of him.)

I look at getting this done as a part time job. As I work through each of these sections I am learning to expect mistakes and obstacles. I am learning to double check the experts because they don't always have the right info too. I did ask for an expert for the process I got sent the wrong forms. I failed to ask him his experience in dealing with this type of situation. Second opinions are sometimes worth while.

Two things that help me in this is to step back and breathe and then laugh at the absurdity of some of what I am asked to complete. I still shake my head when I think of the lawyer asking what if DS is in a nursing home at the before the age of 65 what do we want to have happen. This took me to a zone where I just gave him a blank look. When I do fortunately run into completing some of this with little difficulty and or finding the right person to help me I sigh with a huge sense of GRATITUDE. I also remember to profusely thank those who have tried to help me.

I also learned Follow up. follow up, follow up. Until you are sure a process is complete to your satisfaction follow up. Do not assume it is done unfortunately. I do this to prevent a nasty surprise when I am too vulnerable to deal with it.

Just found up first lawyers we dealt with failed to put our home into our trust. Lesson learned ask for paperwork and receipts!

M I now understand why you want a personal secretary to make sure these type of things do not fall through the cracks!

Janetr - I have heard on TV that there are lawsuits and financial awards for slipped or defective hip and knee replacement. You might want to look into that.
