😂😂😂 ok then, eat up.0 -
I searched McDonald’s in the forum and saw a few that said it should be ******* out. I think they were mostly older posts. I did the artisan grilled chicken sandwich and side salad with balsamic. No fry burgling.7

I hate McDonald’s too! I started to say “go to Wendy’s.” But then I remembered the playgrounds in McDonald’s, and kids saying “I want McDonald’s” and not “I want Wendy’s”. Enjoy McDonald’s with the kids before they get old enough they don’t want you to go anywhere with them!

I like McDonalds. Great chocolate shake, Egg Muffin 300 calories. Good fries but there are sort of off my list due to density.0

I go to any fast food place when i can work in the calories-1

i'm a sucker for their fish sammiches. i realize they aren't good...they are like those oval shaped chicken sammiches at burger king to me..horrible and delicious.2

Anything you can fit into your calorie budget is ok. Personally, my breakfast sandwiches are better than theirs. I really just prefer my own cooking vs eating out. Better & cheaper. BTW, food is a four letter word 😉0

I attempted to have a grilled chicken burger no sauce, bacon or cheese and was still violently ill 30 mins after. Shane because I loved the taste haha0

I'm personally more comfortable with fast food than sit down restaurants because of an unpleasant experience in the past. I know not every restaurant and not every food is scary (not even the same restaurant on a different day), but once you experience it you stop being rational about it and the whole thing becomes unappealing. I have never felt ill after a fast food meal, but I once had the absolute nastiest food poisoning caused by a salad at an expensive restaurant. I order whatever I want at fast food chains, but if it's a decent restaurant, I don't even want to look at the salad menu. I usually end up having some kind of soup or dessert for dinner.2 -

I've gotten food poisoning from just fast food and it was the worst experience of my life...my family got violently ill from mushrooms on a salad bar years ago. I was the only one that didn't eat the mushrooms!0 -

I never said that...but by all means eat at your own risk. I know some people are so mad when anyone says anything negative about fast food on these boards. It's amazing! Do you all work in the industry? HAHA! It's garbage food and killing a lot of people and almost killed me because of my addiction to it.6 -
People should get a chance to work in a kitchen. Especially a fast food one. Very few home cooks have a fraction of the cleanliness of a McD kitchen. Usually it is not possible because the typical kitchen lacks floor drains, high temperature dishwashers, disposables, and stainless steel counters. Appliances are not elevated and cabinetry meets the floor surfaces.
If you go to a neighbors for dinner or god forbid a pot luck some place, or a church open house, you are probably 1000 times more likely to encounter some pernicious organisms.
And, anyone who thinks FF uses poor ingredients, they don't, and a cursory review of diaries on this site will show what a garbage diet really looks like.
Having said the above, please note that I have eaten fast food less than once a month for the last 25 years. I just like to cook.11 -

The kitchen may be clean, but not always the employees. It's still garbage food.5 -

Cool story bro.5 -
I don’t think I had food poisoning. I think I had just not eaten anything but complete whole foods for so long that my system just spun out1
