I've lost and gained, and again lost and gained for several years now. I was down to 157 last October and here I am 177.9 today🙁 I have Type 2 diabetes (dx'd 18 months ago) so weight loss is really important for me. I feel good at 140, would feel amazing at 130. My first goal is 150.

My original post is gone, I clicked done instead of post! Anyhow I believe most of this drop is water but the scale is going down and I'll take it. I did take measurements too and def down in my hips, waist, thighs so something is working
I am on day 8 of keto and loving it! My initial lightheadedness and carb withdrawal is done (hopefully! Had it really bad on day two). Three best things so far about keto are: less anxiety, less gut inflammation (really I can feel the difference), and I dont feel deprived.
It really has opened my eyes to how poor my nutrition habits were pre keto and is changing my relationship with food.

Sept 1: 251.8, which is good as I thought I would be bloated from tailgating yesterday. Seems I partied within reason, though
Sept 8: 251.0. I was down to 250.0 yesterday morning and am really looking forward to getting out of the 250s. I feel like I've been bouncing between 251 and 254 forever, but looking back through my log it has only been 2 weeks. College Gameday is broadcasting from our college next week, so my Sunday weigh-in might be a little off next week, though I didn't overdo it tailgating last weekend.

Sept 8: 140.2 - bummers, wanted to try a little of the homemade German Spaetzle DH made last night, but couldn't stop at "just a little," kept going back for more and then that led to getting out of control with other carbs later in the evening. About 1040 calories over for the day. Hopefully a lot of this gain is water retention caused by too many carbs and won't take long for it to come off. (Can I get a few hugs?)
