09/10 194.6 (-0.2) not s great food day. Didn't measure or weigh my food and ended up eating crackers and cheese and meat sticks for dinner. Felt really off in general and unmotivated. Didn't do my workout. Trying to get back into routine tomorrow.

Good Morning all. I just saw this challenge this morning, and thought I'd give it a try. Surely I can do 10 days. I have been struggling with my weight.... forever, and I thought that maybe little steps at a time would help, instead of jumping in whole hog...

09/10 - 160.3 - Way backwards movement. But I did cave to anxiety eating a Sonic Blast last night which never bodes well for the tummy (lactose sensitive). I'm still feeling the bloat today. Plus I have a bit of DOMS from my first workout in awhile yesterday. Need to get right today. Coworker and I both want to lose 20lbs and we are almost identical in BF%, weight, and clothing size. Hopefully the anxiety I'm already feeling goes away quickly today.

This round might be tough. I am on my own for the next couple of weeks. In the past I have gone out and bought a big bag of “junk” and perched on the couch reading books and watching TV. This time...I already have several meals pre-cooked and fruit in the house. I also am planning to start back working out...nothing to strenuous but I have been fairly sedentary for the last two years after some health issues. It is time to no longer use that excuse to sit on my butt so much!

It is a shame for a woman to grow old without ever seeing the strength and beauty of which her body is capable. - Author Unknown
I don't want to live whatever time I have left on this earth not having experienced what I am capable of doing. I don't want to make the excuses..."I am too old"..."I am not healthy enough"..."I am too fat"..."I am not smart enough"...etc...etc. There might be valid reasons why I can't do something but there should never be excuses...only choices.

09/10: 308.2 lbs (+0.4) … the smallish uptick continues. Nothing that I’m worried about. I’m starting to feel some real benefits to my running… since just yesterday I’ve noticed my walking pace has increased a decent amount without a corresponding increase in effort. Not too long ago it felt like a chore just walking around…

09/10: 140.8 The possibilities of a lovely day as I sip my coffee, feel the cool morning breeze and hear the sounds all around. The washing-machine humm, the noisy parakeets as they fly across the property. Then there is the rhythmic sound of the gardener using his machete to expertly cut the weeds. Then I find myself humming to the cats in the cradle song...What will today bring..or perhaps I should be asking what will I bring to today?

This quote has been my driving force this month...
It is a shame for a woman to grow old without ever seeing the strength and beauty of which her body is capable. - Author Unknown
I love this so much. I have a group of 5 girlfriends I've known since we were kids (we're turning 50 this year) and 2 or 3 of them feel like their body is something outside of themselves. I felt that way for a number of years until I was diagnosed with MS. Suddenly the body I had never given much thought to was super important. In that MS has been a gift to me. I could easily weigh 400 pounds today (my mother weighed almost that when she got sick at 62) but MS said wake up girl you got a beautiful body if you paid any attention to it. I wish everyone could figure this out for themselves.

NEVER GIVE UP! You can surprise yourself! I have.
What we need to succeed is a sustainable way of eating, not a DIET we go on and off.
This is NOT A DIET. It’s a LIFESTYLE.

09/10: 136.2 lbs - I'll take it. Went to doctor yesterday - got lots of good drugs for a sinus infection. Already feel better this morning. Heading out to play some pickleball. Ate well yesterday, stuck to my goal of no late night snacking. It has taken me 3 months to lose approximately 3 pounds. Talk about slow! But if it stays off, so be it. Plus, I've been working out the whole time so I'd like to think my fat stores are shrinking and my muscle is growing. I did take my measurements a month ago, thinking I'll compare those soon.

@MBabydoll I love this challenge! Each and EVERY day I am inspired by someone, sometimes many. Reading your Stats since 1/1/18 , then all of your rounds during this challenge has re-inspired me for today. Thanks for that! Round 89 Goals:
- 3 workouts/week. 3 tumblers of water during the day.
- Practice my push-ups every day. I'm getting better!
- Just get back to tracking and kicking that cravings/snacking bug that has crept back up!
09/10 - 143.2 It's been a lot of snacks and treats and no meal prepping for the past 10ish days. Add a TOM (and the fatigue that accompanies it for me) to that and I'm feeling a little rough! But I'm ready to turn that around with my meal prepped lunch salads, healthy dinners, and lots of water. Went to the gym for a nice kickboxing class last night, and should be able to do a few more gym sessions, even though I will have a somewhat busy week!
In NSV-territory, I picked up my Matron of Honor dress on Friday, and the size I ordered a few months ago (that I was a little worried might have been too ambitiously small) might actually need to be taken in! The dress has been one of my motivations, so it felt really great to see it fit so well! Wedding is in December, so that will keep me focused for the next few months!

Day/Weight/Comment
09/09 …..193.6….. ENDING WEIGHT LAST ROUND
09/10 …..193.6 ….. Stubborn Fat! That’s okay, I can outlast this stare-down competition! I prep cooked a couple of meals yesterday & may do more of another recipe today to help on the grab & go days here at the cabins. I have been reading over my food logging and find that I do love my keto/low-carb friendly recipes and foods, but sometimes a little too much. Often the quantities/portion sizes are a bit too big. I will have to work on that. I am proud, however, that I have learned this past year to eat more carb friendly varieties of foods & recipes. Portioning & freezing ahead of time does help. Yesterday’s stats: 1994 Calories In / 2666 Calories burned. 88 Carbs. 17,432 Total Steps & 7.38 Total Miles. 13/13 Fitbit Step Hours & I slept 4 hours & 3 minutes but woke up feeling okay. I took a riverside hike including some extra hills for 58 minutes, I took a walk at slow pace with neighbors dog for 27 minutes, I did some yard work & transplanting for 65 minutes and I did some misc light cleaning in a cabin & the house for about 40 minutes. Total extra calorie burn 918. I should not have snuck back into my keto casserole last night as it cooled in preparation for the freezer! Lesson learned. Stall explained.
