3 day cleanse last week was rough!! But I did, day after it was done I was down 4 lbs, obviously water weight. But haven't had gluten since and I've been feeling less bloated, more energy, and overall just good. Another week to go, this week back to workouting (calories to low with juicing so I couldn't) so we shall see how this goes, may continue the no gluten for another week after this...

Anyone want to be my accountability partner. I’m at 256 right now but just began to challenge myself to log in my food intake and excercise for each day. I have a planet fitness membership and can take a friend with me. Having a person to help and be accountable to would really help me stay true to this. I’m capable of losing about 15 lbs a month by combining diet and excercise ( I accomplished this a couple years ago and then fell back into old habits and gained most of the weight back. Looking forward to hearing from you if you want to join me.

    Wk 7 9/15 - 164.2 lbs
Wk 8 9/22 - 164.4 lbs, technically last Friday when I started with MFP again, I was at 166 lbs, so I’m ok with this. Plus I have given up the massive amounts of sugar that I’m used to consuming which meant I had a massive migraine for 3 days and could barely function. I’m off the hooch, (and by hooch I mean those 1.25 liters of Coke and candy everyday) and feeling so much better.

W1 8/4: 256.4. Depression has been hitting hard the past few days, making it very difficult to stay active. Still, down 5.5 lbs in 9 days is an amazing start.

W2 8/11: 252.4 All summer I’ve been “officially” weighing myself after I workout as the number was 2-3 lbs lighter than right when I woke up and made me feel better. I realized this past week that he difference was just water, and that with school starting back up I will be switching from morning to afternoon workouts, so that model just wouldn’t work anymore anyway. Today was the first day I “officially” weighed before working out. I expected a number in the 255s, as that was my preworkout weight all week, so the 252 was a pleasant surprise. Down 4lbs since last checkin, 9.5 since starting weight for this challenge, 19.5 total (since may 23).

W3 8/18: 257.6 Last week was a fluke, and today is a salt issue. I was in the 254-255s all week and jumped this morning, which makes sense after tacos and margaritas last night. I didn’t work out the 3 days I worked except for a 40 minute walk during a lunch break on Monday. Tomorrow we will be sitting in a meeting all day, so that will be another low burn day. I have to get better about my food logging and actually weigh things, because I’m not going to have the same opportunity to run now that school is back on.

W4 8/25: 255.8. I was as high as 260 this week, but have peeked and am on my way back down. I was too tired after work all week to go for a walk, and I strained a ligament in my foot, so I wasn’t able to run today or yesterday. School will be fun the next few days, as it hurts to stand or walk but the show must go on.

W5 9/1: 251.8: 20lbs lost since just before summer started, 4 lbs down since last week, and a didn’t destroy my work this week tailgating yesterday. Still not working out, but my foot feels like it is healing quickly, only a small amount of soreness, but the rest of my body is sore from yesterday. We moved up in the world to a paved lot this year, and it seems standing on the cement all day is harder on my back and legs than standing in the grass. We won though (barely, in triple overtime) and I’m back on track after a 2 week flux period.

W6 9/8: 251.0 11.9 lbs lost since starting the challenge, was at 250.0 yesterday. Really excited to be so close to leaving the 250s behind! Still not working out, I'm just too tired at the end of the day and I'm already getting up really early. Been getting over 10k steps everyday at work, though, as I basically don't sit down between 8am and 2pm when I have students. No tailgating this week, but College Gameday is broadcasting from our school this next weekend, so it could get a little crazy.

W7 9/15: 248.6. Down 2.4 lbs since last week, 12.4 since start. Best this week was yesterday and Friday at 247.8. Didn’t go as crazy yesterday as I could have, weather got in the way. By the second lightning delay, we decided just to go home rather than risk more torrential downpour, flash flooding, and lightning that looks (and sounds!) close enough to actually hit you. But at least our team...blew an opportunity at the last second with a stupid mistake 🤦🏻‍♀️. College football is a hard life, even for fans.

W8 9/22: 248.4. Down .2 from last week. Best this week was 247.0 yesterday and Friday, but I way overdid it tailgating yesterday. The team won 72-20. No tailgating the next 3 weekends, but it is our anniversary and my birthday next week, then back to back weddings the next two weekends.
