It actually makes me a little emotional writing that. I've been downplaying my weight loss to everyone, myself included.
Long way to go yet but yeah
Got it
Better figure out a new mini goal!

That is amazing and you look FABULOUS. Boogie down with your fine self.8 -
No “weight-loss” goal per se.
Next 3 weeks - (4 seems too long and 2 is not enough) - so 3 weeks:
a) Stick to Calorie goals
b) More Water
c) Exercise Goals (that’s easy)
d) Don’t step on scales, but measure in the am
For some reason watching the scales trips me up - more emotional response.
If wt is down - 🥳 🎉🥂 - I’m not as careful with my food choices
If wt is up - 😨😡🍫🍷🧀🍟🍕🍕🍕 - What the heck, throw in the towel.
Measuring doesn’t show water weight and does better reflect muscle gain and fat loss.
I’ll weigh at beginning of week 4.

Pulling for you! 🤞 I will get mine tested in November ahead of my next doctor visit. I am down a shade over 30 lbs since my last check-up in May and have been close to "beast mode" exercise wise since getting through my hip replacements rehab. My goal is to knock A1C down and otherwise improve labwork results to such levels to make my doctor consider changing professions 😉😆
haha, I love that! Good luck to you too my friend!
Thank you! It's been a long time since I have been so focused. It wasn't A1C back in May (although that crept up a fraction) that my Dr. sounded an alarm about. She was concerned about swelling she saw in my ankles and had a tone suggesting if she saw that again, she would consider prescribing a diuretic. Well, that annoyed me a little bit because when said that, I wasn't even a month out from my second side hip replacement. Well, today my shoes fit a little looser and my ankles look for more normal and I think I am on course to shut that idea down as well. Thanks again!6 -
Get into the "average" body fat % range -- so close, at 32%!5

I got several. The most important is to lose 20 pounds by December 10 when I see my surgeon and he can schedule me for knee replacement surgery, To lose enough weight to not be labeled morbidly obese. I hate that phrase, to get out of the 240s only two or three pounds to go, to be fit and healthier to keep up with all the walking and hill climbing when I go to Europe next August and not to detest pictures of me. Other goals include wanting to get under 220 that is the lowest I got in years even with surgery I had in 2001 to lose weight, to get below 200 pounds and be back in Onederland.10

I'd like to be down 10 lbs. when I go to my cardiologist next Tuesday. I'll probably hit 8. My overall goal is 45 pounds. I had zero appetite before my heart surgery so I lost a bit but it came back with a vengeance after.5

2lb off a stone and a half loss.
5lb off 11 stone.
6lb off *under* 11 stone
My friend's wedding (and my new dress) on 13th Oct.
Seeing my mother on 14th...
So many little goals!9 -
I’ll be in onederland very soon. I haven’t been there since I was about 16 lol.12

Husband and I are trying for a baby! My mini-goal is to maintain my health, continue to exercise throughout the pregnancy, eat healthy and not go overboard on calories, and to fit back into the same size work pants by the time I go back to work after maternity leave.18
-
Mini-goal: lose these pesky pounds that crept on after I thought I could handle maintenance. Baby steps: getting calorie and exercise goals back into main focus11

Closing all three rings on the Apple Watch activity app4

Finding it hard to come up with a mini goal.
Most of mine tend to be scale orientated, so I guess the next stone mark - 5.5 pounds away.
I'd also like to start doing 'land' classes at the gym instead of just aqua ones.
There you go, two mini goals4 -
My closest mini goal is to return to the lowest weight I had achieved the last time I tried to be healthier. (That was two years ago, and I'm about 3.5 lbs away from this goal). I feel like it will be a big mental boost. Despite working on reducing negative self-talk, I feel there's always been this residual frustration in the back of my mind about having to re-lose those pounds. Feels more like a clean start from that point, silly as that may sound 🙂6
-
Okay, its not that mini but to get back to where I was this time last year - before a year of studying at night and eating everything in front of me. Its about 14lb, but really quite achievable (only I'm back studying again )4

Cabbage is a natural diuretic....eat loads of it...raw or cooked however you like.1 -
My mini goal (sadly) is to get down to 190 before my mother's memorial on the 26th of October. I need to lose a lot more, but this would be making her so happy! I was 208 at the end of August, I am now down to 196.17
-
Getting below 200 again! Im down 30 lbs and was stuck at 208. Just broke through that and am hopefully heading break 200 by the new year. (My weight loss is VERY slow)9
-
Only 8.5 lbs to go now but have to survive my daughter’s birthday weekend.... my goal is not to put on any weight this weekend and to go for a long walk to offset some of the eating...!

My mini goal is to get under 144. This morning I weighed in at 146. This time last year I was doing so well on my journey and got down to 144 which was my smallest in years, so I am hoping to pass this and continue forwards.6
-
Just hit the 30lb mark today and it feels faannnnnntastic! Next goal, onederland! 9lbs away!13
-
My min-goal is to find the enthusiasm to go out and exercise when it is raining!10
-
Being under 230 at last and being able to wear clothes I failed to return a while back that were too small.7

Hey same here. Isn't it an awesome feeling, congrats!!1 -
Getting to healthy BMI. 10 more pounds to go!9
-
I've got a doctor appointment on the 22nd of November so I'm completely focused on toeing the line to see if I have any improvements in my blood work. I'm not weighing, I'm just getting my 10,000 steps in everyday and staying in my calorie goal with healthy food and waiting to see the results. 🤞9
-
The next 5 pounds which will put me in the 180s. And I would like to be one size down comfortably not squished by Christmas.
I'm pretty disappointed with myself right now. On Friday it will be one year of going to the gym. HIIT Class, Zumba, Spin and the machines when I don't have classes.
I averaged 3x a week.
Granted one month it was 3 times because of life, another month it was everyday.
I've lost 11 pounds and then that 5 pounds keeps going up and down.
It's been a rollercoaster year. My daughter graduated from college. Two out of state weddings. My sister-in-law and my niece. Taking care of my 89 year old father in law for 3 months and then back to my sister-in-law's out of state when he was in the hospital. Driving him back home. Then hospice at my brother-in-law's an hour away. He passed away 09-09-2019.
And my son is getting married in January.
Hubby has not been 100% either and may be going in for sinus surgery soon. Oh and I commute and work full time.
Maybe it's the stress that refuses to let it go. Pardon the pun.
I had hoped to be thin and strong for the wedding. There are still 3 months.
The one thing the gym did do for me this past year was keep me same. The gym and my garden.
My instructor says she can tell a big difference in my strength. I can do the assisted pull up machine and a not so pretty burpee now. Lol
Now that we are getting back to "normal " my baby step goal is to see that scale move down the next 5 pounds.13
