Spooky/Creepy Images

Camping at a site where there was a Civil war battle and less than 50 feet from one of the natural earthen emplacements, I captured this image.
My son and I had been hearing noises, first we heard a muffled sound that was as if nearby us but still faint, almost like someone hollering. We then heard some sounds that are too hard to describe and there was a smell that I hate to say was the smell of black powder.
My son got spooked and couldn't sleep the entire night, I did not sleep all that well. Didn't help that we both heard sounds of the leafs being rustled outside the tent.
Take the image for what it is, but I've shown a few folks and told them the story and they're uneasy about it.4 -

Because nothing says "let's stay here and review this awesome flashlight like creepy non-wind whispering in a mine shaft isn't happening" quite like this dude.
I applaud him keeping his cool. Most of us would have just noped the *kitten* out of there.2 -

not supernatural creepy at all but these ribbon worms are kinda alien/creepy and unsettling i think
"But what sets ribbon worms apart from all other worms is their namesake proboscis. This feeding appendage is held in a sheath or sac above a ribbon worm’s gut. When prey is detected, muscles rapidly contract and force fluid into the sheath, which turns the proboscis inside-out and forces it through the proboscis pore at the head of the worm. It wraps around prey and is then drawn in for a meal. In some species the proboscis can extend out 30 times the length the worm.
There is a show on Netflix about the weirdest things/creepiest behavior in nature and if you like this stuff it is sure to please you. I however, made my boyfriend turn it off LOL1 -

Enjoy a Blair Witch-esque series about a bunch of dudes filming for a college film class level B movie and watch as things slowly unwind. No blood, no gore, just spooky creepypasta mythos. Marble Hornets is the precursor to what became the Slenderman creepypasta, btw. It existed before all the unfortunate madness that came after and is a good little series in its own right. Starts off slow burning, but quickly progresses into something spooky and mysterious.
