    I’m starting late, so for me it will be a 8-week challenge. Dec 1 is my birthday. Lost 14 pounds so far. Would love to lose another 16-20 by Dec 1 and I am hoping this challenge and the participants will help me.

    W5 9/2: NS OUT OF TOWN
    W6 9/9: 147.0 has been a rough couple of weeks. Hopefully I can get it together and lose that last 10 pounds that I need to.
    W7 9/16: 146.3 down from last Monday and I think I would have even been lower, but TOM is showing up today.
    W8 9/23: 145.4 finally back on track and moving back down on the scale.
    W9 9/30: 145.9 was 140.9 yesterday, but had way to much alcohol and snack foods for the Cowboys game last night.

    W10 10/7: 143.2 My lowest Monday so far. Finally maybe I can make some progress this month!

    W5 9/1: 152.2 -- [In which I felt uncomfortable with my body, disgusted with myself--but optimistic that I can take charge of dropping the excess weight.]
    W6 9/8: 148.8 -- [In which I felt like a) maybe the previous week was a fluke, and/or b) maybe the weight will just sort of fly off at a rapid clip: no problem.]
    W7 9/15: 147.8 -- [In which I realized that not every week would be a 3-lb. drop]
    W8 9/22: 148.8 -- [In which I felt demoralized.]
    W9 9/29: 147.5 -- The past few weeks I have not been drinking as much water as I've been told (by a registered dietician) to drink. For a variety of reasons, including the fact that I eat a very high fiber diet (I'm vegan and I eat very little processed food), I'm supposed to aim for about 16 cups/day. Too many days I've not had even close to that amount. Also, have not been prioritizing exercise. Time to refocus on water, walking, and the gym!

    I was away last week and my weigh in on Friday the day after I got back was 206.4. Thankfully, it was water weight and has come back off! I was worried cuz I really did not eat well while on holiday. 🙂
