Round 91 was the worst of the the last few rounds. Iโm going to keep joining though and keep trying. I need to get my diet under control and start doing some form of exercise again. I think I need to update my excel sheet and start tracking my numbers again that was motivating me to see the trends going down.

10/10 158.4 that's down .2 from yesterday, the last day of Round 91, so again, happy camper here. I credit that to my exercise bike, just hiking seems to keep me fine for maintenance now, but seems I need a bit more for weight loss now that I'm so close to goal. GRRR! lol
10/11 159.8 FIE ON YOU CHINESE TAKEOUT FOOD!!! And of course, even overestimating the quantity when I logged, the site had me under by over 500 calories yesterday. FIE ON THE CALORIE ESTIMATOR AS WELL!!!
10/12 159.4 couldn't believe it, I ate 2 of the triple chocolate cupcakes with chocolate buttercream icing that I made for the hubby's birthday yesterday! Imagine what I could have lost without 'em!

Short Term Goal: Lose back down to my lowest weight last round (187.2) which is a 4.6 lb loss. Due to possible fluid retention, I am trying to be confident that I will do it this round. Back to business!
My First Long Term Weight Goal: To weigh 186.X by Halloween. (new revised & realistic goal)
My Second Long Term Weight Goal: Weigh 174.X by Jan 11, 2020 (my 2 year anniversary of current Keto dieting).
Final goal: 145-155. Weโll see how I look & feel when I get there.
Exercise:
During each Weight goal I plan on doing cardio in the form of dancing at aerobic levels whenever possible. I would also like to walk as much as possible.

10/10 โฆ..191.8โฆ.. Hopefully some of this is water retention. I am up 4.6 lbs from my lowest weight last round. Travel is over (for now) and Iโm back in my safe zone (home). LCHF, lots of exercise and I am still attempting to try to get more sleep. Now if I could just get tired! Good luck everyone this round!
10/11 โฆ..191.8โฆ.. No change. Very disappointed because I worked really hard as my numbers will show. I suppose TMI would help, but no potty so far today. Yesterdayโs stats: 1500 Calories In / 3125 Calories Out. 53 Net Carbs. 24,298 Total Steps & 10.28 Total Miles. 13/13 Fitbit Step Hours. I slept 4 hours & 53 minutes and woke up tired. I did 32 minutes of light to moderate cleaning in the tourist cabins, I walked a DNR hiking trail (no backpack) at about 3.5 mph for 115 minutes (almost 5 miles) and I did aerobic dancing in my livingroom for 26 minutes. 10/12 โฆ..189.8 โฆ.. Working its way back down after the travel. Yesterday I did no planned exercise as Iโve been hitting it so hard lately. I did stay moving doing my own personal housework (which I donโt consider exercise). I do count the tourist cabin cleaning because its not everyday, its extra rigorous & really helps burn! Yesterdays stats: 1250 Calories In / 2496 Calories Out. 37 Net Carbs of friendly veggies. 12,790 Total Steps & 5.41 Total Miles. 12/13 Fitbit Step Hours & I slept a whopping 6 hours & 18 minutes. The sleep must have aided in the weight loss because my numbers were good and within limits but not as good as they have been recently.
10/13 โฆ..190.2 โฆ.. I went out to dinner with my son who came in to visit from another town. A nice surprise but I didnโt know he was coming or I would have limited breakfast & lunch. I made better choices at the restaurant than usual but stillโฆ.there is always fluid retention from those hidden things and sodium when I donโt cook it myself. It was nice to see him & the baby. Yesterdayโs stats: 1799 Calories In / 2334 Calories Out. 79 Carbs. 14,008 Total Steps & 5.95 Total Miles. 13/13 Fitbit Step Hours. Not sure about sleep, I recharged my Fitbit. I dreamed last night for the 1st time in probably 20 years. It was a very strange dream but it was wonderful that I got to see my husband again. I woke up very tired & groggy. I wanted to lay back down to see if I could get back into the dream & see him some more, but the cat wouldnโt let me.

10/11 121.0 Spent 6 hours sewing with a friend yesterday. Had a salad and meat balls for lunch and nothing sounded good for dinner. DH needed a meal so at 7PM we went to Panda Express. I got Kung Pao Chicken-not the best choice but not terrible -no side. I used to get the mixed veggies and then they turned it into โSuper Greensโ with kale ๐คฎ๐คฎ๐คฎ so now they have no side I will eat.

**Late edit-bagels, English muffins, croissants, jelly, cream cheese, 3 brands of yogurt, cottage cheese, fresh fruit and canned peaches. I picked the lowest carb yogurt(9g,) some cream cheese, and some berries. Almost my daily limit of carbs before 10AM. I ate carefully the rest of the day.

10th Oct: 120.6- Spin Day- Shocked I am starting at a low, went to the last Beer/Wine walk last night and enjoyed the appetizers. Our husbands joined us and we went to fewer restaurants and beer theme not my favorite so may have worked in my weight loss favor.
11th Oct: 119.8 Have been bouncing around for 3 weeks from 122.8 to 120, can not believe I have broken the floor of 120. Heading to Body Pump this morning after enjoying my oatmeal smoothie bowl. Ate more than 7 servings of fruits and veggies and 100 grams of protein yesterday, yeah...
12th Oct:120.2 Not bad- since I hit a low yesterday...tomorrow will be the real test as we are going tailgating this afternoon- no good will happen there I am sure- But lots of fun! Probably take me all week to recover- trying to mentally prepare for tomorrows scale number- Did go to body pump- Had my oatmeal smoothie bowl, and planning on leftover ratatouille for lunch. Do not want be ravished when I get there.
13th Oct:121.8- To be expected..Had a great time at ND/USC tailgate. Tons of people tons of food and even though I was drinking 100 calorie hard cider they still add up. My apple watch actually turned on and asked me if I was working out walking from where we parked to the tailgate. I should check to see if it was a mile. Well, ate with reckless abandon and will spend all week correcting - but this is life enjoy ing each moment and accepting the consequences. Did go to body pump before and did a 3 mile walk in preparation- I made horrible Tiramisu brownies (had to throw away)- I am so out of practice baking, not cooked all the way thru but did sample too much of those too.

10/10 -207.2 When I woke up this morning the heaviness in my gut from eating something that I was sensitive to was mainly gone. So I'm not surprised that there was a drop on the scale this morning. My gut is not 100%, but it definitely feels much better. I'm proud of myself that over the last few days when I wasn't feeling great, I still stuck with my diet and exercise even though I didn't want to. Workout with strength coach was tough yesterday. It's supposed to be a great sunny fall day today, so plan is to go for a run after work.

10/10: 224.2 (-0.4)/18.9 (-0.1). I'm happy that the downward trend is continuing. I ate at about maintenance yesterday, succombing a bit to temptation later in the night. I'm feeling like I need to give myself a little bit of leeway for nights like last night. I've been shooting straight for my target calorie goal every day, carefully planning things out to be "done by dinner." Every once in a while I want a drink with dinner, as well.
10/11: 224.2 (0.0)/18.9 (0.0). I was at or slightly above maintenance last night, likely because of the dinner I had after my wife flaked on me re: the gym. I have my plan for the gym set; Tuesday, Thursday or Friday, and Sunday every week. I decided Thursday is better than Friday, because it gives me a day of rest before basketball, and it keeps my Friday night open for fun (I NEED that). The "flaking" did not throw me too far off track, but I need to commit to sticking to MY plan, regardless of what my lovely wife does or does not do. It's not her fault. I am a big boy, and I can make my own decisions.
10/12: 224.2 (0.0)/18.9 (0.0). I lifted weights last night, but also had an impromptu birthday celebration (after I had dinner) for my niece at my brother-in-law's house. I was "pretty good," but I did have a cupcake. Basketball today.
10/13: 222.6 (-1.6)/18.8 (-0.1). I both went to bed and woke up late, so I'm not sure how much I trust this number. Yesterday I played basketball, did a bunch of housework, and then went to Fright Fest at Six Flags Magic Mountain in the evening. I got plenty of exercise. My eating wasn't fantastic, but I kept my portions under control, and I resisted the urge to indulge in a late night (early morning, really) snack on the way home from Magic Mountain. I also, coincidentally, dropped a chair on the side of my foot yesterday, bruising it badly and shearing off a significant amount of skin (after basketball, but before Magic Mountain). It's still bleeding moderately if I don't have a band aid on it. I might skip out on the gym today, because my neck/foot are killing me a little bit. At the very least I have home projects to work on. I'll probably still hit the gym, though. I hate to lose momentum; I've been pretty good about getting there 3x/wk for the past few weeks.

So definitely bounce like that!!! 2-3 pounds easily. My GF and I both participated in a special gym event and both gained 3 pounds - I am going with the idea its water weight..but took me 5 days, week before last, to even out- her 2 days. Add a dinner in a restaurant and 5 pound gain easy, another week to correct, usually just high sodium intake and water weight. And I upped my calcium intake because of blood work and embarrassed to report - constipation. another several pounds another random week. Good Luck- I swear you will even out but be patient and stay the course.

THERE ARE NO QUICK FIXES OR SHORTCUTS to achieving permanent change.
REMINDERS One or two thoughts which might give heart to some of you.- Daily weight fluctuations are normal, and can be as much as 2 lbs a day for no apparent reason.
- A general downward trend is what we are looking for.
- Eating out can cause apparent weight gain because of high sodium levels, but usually goes quickly. Drinking extra water helps with this.
- The human body does not react instantly to what we do to it. Sometimes it can take several days to see results.
- Plateaus are a normal part of the process. The body is consolidating and adapting to your new way of eating/exercising.
- The closer you get to your goal weight, the more difficult it becomes to lose weight, as your body becomes more efficient at using what you feed it.
- When you exercise you build muscle, which takes up less space than fat, so use measurements as well as weight to assess your progress.
- Getting/Staying fit and healthy requires a lifestyle change for most people.

@debbie7373, Don't you give up! Evaluate EVERYTHING that you are doing to see where you need to make changes. Sometimes it's just one small tweak that is needed. Consider the usual checklist first, food, are you eating more freshly prepared meals or meals made with processed ingredients? water, are you drinking enough? vitamin/mineral imbalance? exercise, it doesn't take much, but you have to be consistent. You are worth the time it takes to figure it out.7

Achieved goal weigh of 125lb in summer 2016 by losing 66lb and have gradually gained between 7 and 11 since then; I don't want to gain any more, but would like to get back to my goal weight โ I'm working at it โ it's a permanent way of life !

10/10 133.4 โ 9.36 miles walked yesterday and an hours yoga, all macros in green.
10/11 133.4 - 3.89 miles walked yesterday chasing my 18 month DGS around, walk pushing him in his pushchair whilst he napped cut short by rain, food not good:over on carbs & calories
10/12 133.6 โ 9.71 miles walked yesterday, including a good work out with 2 hours dancing last night, calories within goal, carbs & fat slightly over. Aiming for a perfect day today !
10/13 132.8 โ wow!! 8.2 miles walked yesterday, all macros in green apart from sodium (had mussels for tea) and so was not expecting it โ but I'll take it !!!
10/14 133.8 โ no walking yesterday, travelled for 2 hours up to DS for DGD 1st birthday party, overindulged on food โ so much temptation and a delicious Hungry Caterpillar birthday cake !!!
