Why must self care be so difficult some days? Bleh.
Maybe it shouldn’t be. I feel that self care should mean that we feel good because we’re doing the right things for ourselves. But it’s not easy to truly know what the right thing is

It is difficult when you have clinical depression and anxiety issues that keep you from functioning like a "normal" person. You know what you should do, but you find it incredibly hard to get there.. or to take care of things. It sucks. :(

That def stinks, anxiety is hell, been there.

Honestly, yeah. The anxiety is worse than the depressive states (for me). Mainly because I have no control over the heart-wrenching feelings that anxiety induces and it's hard to "calm down" from one of those episodes. Depression I can usually (not always) work through... but the anxiety.. the only way that dies down or goes away is with medication.

Anxiety is the worst! I find that it creeps in more the older I get. Self care is important, but so much work when you can’t shut your brain off.

Yep. Especially when you want to sleep and that "fight or flight" reaction kicks in. It sucks.

I asked a question to someone at work (through linkedin), just askin how they're getting on. They didn't write back, and I think that's not kind.
I wonder what that person is thinking... maybe "Let's ignore him like he's an object".
Sorry but your loss, I will just ignore you without even getting moody

I totally ignore linked in now. It lost is value IMO because its just recruitment spam for crap jobs. Maybe it just my field, or maybe everyone thinks this about it?

Star Wars, Anna Kendrick, Seth Rogan, Jordan Peele. I mean sounds like it would be better suited as a Space Balls reboot.

I have barely any photos of adult me and my parents. If they died there would be nothing.
