What Mini Goal is motivating you right now!

Manageable mini-goals:
-get a new solid strength training routine down (working with a trainer now so it's much more organized)
-maintain surfing once/week (I've cut it down from 3x/week on purpose to make room for other exercises)
-strengthen my quads for better sprinting (already happening)
-explore more ocean spaces for swimming (always happening)
-relax more on what I eat... I've been too strict and would like to enjoy more foods (also already happening)
Larger goal:
-lose 5-6 more lbs of fat... or get to 25% body fat or less (ideally)... in progress!

So I tried this week and I was able to go for 15 minutes on the treadmill!!!!! Now I need to set a new goal but stick with the one I achieved for a couple weeks. Sometimes I guess I need to push myself and tell myself I can do it!12 -
Goal of 5 pounds by Christmas. Oddly, the holidays do not cause me food stress because my self talk is so strong during these coming weeks. "your body is waiting just on the other side of your next choice"

"your body is waiting just on the other side of your next choice"
Oh I like that! Might be my new mantra!6 -
A mini goal for me at the moment is to be at 250 at my next doctor's appointment after Christmas. That's about a 14 pound difference.11

My husband is out of the country for work and I haven’t seen him since June. He’ll finally come home in mid December and I’d love to have reached 165 by then. I’m 170 now and a slooooow loser so might not make it. But that’s my hope! Also , he doesn’t know I’ve been losing weight so it’s a surprise .❤️18

Minimum goal is to be out of 200’s lb by the new year 💪10

So, I wandered off track a bit a couple of months ago (finishing my studies - yay - but lost my focus on diet etc for a while). Now back into it, and pretty much back to where I was before my detour.
So my goal (again) is healthy BMI!! Less than a kg away... I hope to see that this month.
And today's weigh in gives me a "healthy" BMI of 24.82! Yippee.
Next goal is being comfortable in my new smaller-sized jeans. They do up nicely and look and feel good from the waist down....but then there is the squishy muffin of my belly above the waistband. So, just planning on continuing to work away at my weight loss and hopefully that will improve soon.16 -
Two more pounds and I'll have lost 10% of my body weight.19
-
2.5 lbs to go to hit my target for this year, I’ve already lost 20.5 lbs since June. The end is in sight as I’m hoping to lose 30 lbs in total12

I broke 200 this week. My most recent non-weight goal has been getting to family Thanksgiving and being the skinniest adult male there. Yes it's petty, but it's working.17
-
went from 225 to 206 in the last 6 weeks...14
-
We are hosting 2 Thanksgiving dinners this year.... my mini goal is to (if not lose) maintain my weight through both them! Wish me luck!!15
-
Getting back into running: 2x/week at 20 min each & 2x/week at 30 min each. For me, running really helps with fat loss.15
-
My current mini-goal is to get to 140. I have 2 pounds to go. Can't do any strenuous exercise for the next two weeks b/c of minor surgery, but I'm still working on it.11
-
Less than 5 pounds to get my BMI under 25. My goal was to get it done before New Years but would love to hit it in the next 4 weeks.12

My husband has been inspired and followed suit with me, tracking on MFP. He's not in the habit of doing it consistently yet and the app keeps logging him out, so that's discouraging to him. But he's been tracking numbers in his head and putting them in at the end of the day and he's been staying within his range or pretty close to it. I meal prep for the both of us and have all of the calories and macros saved into his MFP for him to make it easy, and I write them down for his mental tracking.
He's lost 14 lbs so far. He's so damn proud of himself, and I am, too.
He's even been running, or at least doing intervals. He HATES running.
My mini goal I guess it to keep pushing him and to keep pushing myself to keep being a source of inspiration for him. He doesn't "see" a difference yet, but I do.13 -
it was a pipe dream last April when I couldn't breathe right and was in worst shape of my life @ 280 lbs PLUS, but I hit another mini/major goal today...I now weight 195 lbs and only 6 lbs away from NORMAL BMI. Truly Thankful!29

Weight going down , belly up bloated right now , to start dumb bell lifting this morning6
-
My lowest weight as an adult, ever, was 126. Last weigh-in I was 131. I can't believe how close I am.27
-
Put on my fave jeans!17

On the cusp of Onederland, but what's motivating me more right now is that I want to give myself a slightly belated Christmas gift of "Vanilla Obesity" (last obesity class before becoming overweight). Hoping for right around New Year's for it (probably about a week after).11
-
I gave myself a few days of not going crazy but not really tracking either over the Thanksgiving holiday. But now I am aiming to drop a couple more pounds before hubby’s holiday work party on the 18th. Then I can coast for the week between Christmas and New Years, and then get back to tracking again in January.
I’ve gone from 163 to 135 since May, and having periodic break weeks where I stop cutting and eat around maintenance has been really good for both my hormones and my mental health!11 -
I really want to be under 210 by my kids ballroom competition this weekend. I am not sure I will make it as it is 2 lbs. I am going to keep it very tight this week and see what I can do!17
-
My mini goals are:
• fit into single digit clothing again I’m currently an 11/12
• reach 160lbs(start weight was 217, current weight is 179)18 -
Take a break and be okay in maintenance for a little while...!17
-
It took me over a month to lose the 1.2 lbs to get me to 100 lbs, but I did it!!! Next stop is to get into the 170’s...only 3.2 lbs to go.23

Achieved! Now 34% done with total
Still working on the BMI threshold for the surgery but very close - just 3 more lbs. Next mini-goal after that, find the patience needed until doctor gets back to me with next steps.
Grrrr....12 -
I'm inching closer to that 'magic' obese to overweight transition, 7,5lbs left!
Another mini goal is to have to add a notch to my belt, at the moment I'm between the last and one to last notch.10
