    a local dating site that no longer exists. Funny enough, I kept getting creeper messages and went in one day to shut down my account, due to that and saw a message from him. It was decent, like a normal person, not a vulgar perv, so I read it and responded. We chatted on there for a bit, then he asked if it was too straight forward to ask for my number. He lived near where I work, but definitely never would have met otherwise.

    I met my husband at a bar. Definitely not the best place to meet a guy but what the heck? We're still together 7 years later, married for almost 5.

    We were both lifeguards. Her and another girl were leaving pornographic messages to this girls boyfriend. I over heard and though. Oh, easy lay and 3 way. So I asked the cute one who didn't have the boyfriend.

    Who knew that girls can say things on the phone, but not really mean it. Not and easy lay, no 3 way. Life is so unfair.

    My husband found me on myspace after he moved to the area for school. He was initially looking for friends and girls to hook up with since he was going back to school and wanted a more typical college experience than the one he got before he joined the Marine Corps. He never expected that the first person he met would be his wife 11 months later!

    My wife was my younger sister's dance teacher and we met at one of her recitals. I think I actually fell in love with my wife when I saw her dance for the first time that night.

    My husband and I met on an online game when we were...14 years old? It was a super nerdy game - called a MUD...all text based...

    We kept in touch online and on the phone for the next ...6 years...and when we were both around 20 years old decided to meet up. He's from east coast US and I'm from west coast Canada...been together since the day we met in person :)...married for just over 2 years now :)

    I met my husband in a dream 6months before i ever met him, sounds crazy but its so true!(not gonna tell you about the dream, not approperiate) lol! . I met my husband while babysitting for his older brother. we agreed on how stupid hisolder brother was! lol! Almost didnt happen bc he had a 2 yr old son & i wasnt sure i was ready to be a mom @ 20 yrs old. But i thank god i did!

    i met my guy at a bar on st patricks day last year....he was really hammered...good thing i wrote my number on a chinese food receipt in his pocket or he wouldnt have remembered me..

    Timing is everything. My husband and I met through our Best Friends. We'd often been in the same social circles and places at the same time, but never met or got to know each other. When our BFF's got engaged we were the Best Man and Maid of honor. Planning travel to their wedding we had our first conversation and connected immediately. We were under each other's noses for 5+ years and didn't even know it. Timing is everything... there's no way we would have appreciated eachother before the time we actually had a conversation. One year after our best friends got married, we got married and they were our BM and MOH... I truly believe we were lucky to have both been ready for the love we're able to enjoy now. Work on yourself (inside and out) as much as possible, so when that great person comes along, you're ready and capable of nurturing a healthy relationship.

    I was dating my husband's friend things fizzled, met my husband toward the end of the relationship October 6th we'll be married 1 year, together for 3!

    10th grade....we lived in the same neighborhood and had mutual friends. Dated for a few months broke up and 5 1/2 yrs later a mutual friend got us back together, we've been together ever since...10 1/2yrs, married for 4 :)

    :smile: I met mine through an ex that I dated a couple months. Seriously. He set us up about a year after we broke up. I was in his wedding as Maid of Honor and he was in our wedding as best man. And we have all been friends for about 12 years!

    We both worked at Shoney's (I was a cook and she was a waitress). She was getting ready to go to College and I had one more year of High School left. Got married 2 years later and married 12 years now.

    I meet my husband in high school in 10th grade, we dated for a short while. Then hated each other for EVER. lol! We became friends again after his father passed, after we had both finished school and during his first deployment to Iraq we started talking again. He returned in feb and we got married in April!! 4+ years later we are happier than ever with a beautiful 2yr old daughter :)
