Hi! I didn't see a new challenge for the new month, so I went ahead and started it. These challenges have really helped me stay focused over the past several months and I'm REALLY going to need to be diligent this month!
This is a weekly check-in for anyone with any type of goal. Whether you're trying to lose, maintain or gain; this is a challenge for you! I'll set the dates up that are weekly beginning on the 1st, however you can edit them to suit your needs. Feel free to enter your weights in whichever unit you're comfortable in (pounds, kilos, stones).
Also, feel free to add any detail you want to share each week. Maybe you had success or faced challenges that impacted your goals. Whatever it is, we're all learning and are here to support each other!

I need this; I am in! A little about me: I am 53, married 30 years, childcare provider 25 years. Being busy with children (mine and my job) and a naturally high metabolism in my younger years kept me thin. I hit menopause early and the weight crept on. With no exercise routines established, it just kept coming. Now, DH has RA and I am needing to do more and am finding it difficult with the weight. Luckily no health problems (as of yet) other than sore/stiff knees and ankles. Time to push harder to get rid of the excess. Thank you for this!

My Goal for December is 10lbs.

I weigh everyday first thing in the morning. I work to keep my kcals between 1300 to 1600 kcals and exercise everyday. Also I work to keep my fiber at 25g or over, and drink 64oz of water. I have to think about it everyday to accomplish it. I was wonky this week and gained weight but I am hoping to lose it all this week. I weight train 4days a week, cardio everyday. I also work to get 8 hours sleep. I have to take daily steroids for the rest of my life so it's very difficult to lose weight but I am determined regardless of this difficulty. I want to be a healthy weight and I know it's harder for me than most people but I am determined to do the work everyday. My husband complained bitterly about the changes I made but not anymore as he has lost 50lbs because I make the meals. So although he won't work out with me he will occasionally go on a hike. I hope everyone will just remember this is a lifelong challenge. Friend me if you are a serious badass or a Wannabe. With love and support to everyone!11 -

Thankyou SERmom3 for starting this thread, I started up the ones for the previous 3 months and love looking at everyone’s progress, but I’ve slipped this past 3 weeks looking after my very ill mom so losing weight took a back burner, just been maintaining, hoping to maintain this month and will do weight updates tomorrow x 😀8

Yes! I'm in.
My weight is currently up a couple of pounds from where I have been sitting, so assuming/hoping I am going to get a bit of a whoosh in the next few days (very sore after some serious house renovation and garden work the last few days), so have set my goal off where I was sitting a week ago - otherwise 3kg in a month would be very ambitious for my typical rate of loss.
