I'm 5'8" and about 12 lbs from my goal. Lost almost 20 lbs so far after using MFP since mid-September. I would love more support to help as I get closer to goal, especially since many of us know how frustrating it can be when/if weight loss slows down when you get closer to goal.2

How fast is your weight loss goal set to? Seems like it must be 1.5 or 2 lbs per week that you are aiming for (just comparing to what I was eating at 180 lbs with my goal set to 1 lb/week). With so little to lose you might want to try a slower rate of loss so you can ensure you are feeling full enough and so transitioning to maintenance will be smoother. If you are not losing as quickly as that calorie deficit is targeting, then the most common question you'll get from most folks in the community here is: are you weighing food and logging everything? Just measuring or eyeballing portions may result in underestimating how much you are actually eating.2 -

5’8”. I’ve been losing for a few years now. Taking it slow, learning to maintain. I’ve lost 45lbs and am aiming for another 20lbs by May 1. Final goal is 155lbs with more lean muscle. Fingers crossed!1

Amazing loss so far!
I'm 5'8" with the same goal weight. Learning to maintain will be my big challenge, too. I'm trying to take it really slow and be patient with myself with the last 10 pounds so I can better transition into maintaining weight loss.1
