I was on a business trip in Asia and I managed to keep my fitness regime up. Running outside was not possible part of the trip and though I don't like it I did run on the treadmill. As a result I could go back to my normal schedule immediately upon my return.22

Didn't eat a whole mini loaf of homemade pumpkin bread given as a Christmas gift for lunch but rather ate 2 slices and shared the rest with 3 other people. Before mfp, I wouldn't even think about how much calories Im putting in so it caused me to share more generously with more people.21

Went to Primark and tried on some size 16UK clothes yesterday. I could get into it all! Although some of it was pretty tight. It wasn’t long ago (4 months ago) that I was too big for Primark which I suspect has quite generous sizing. They seem to go up to size 22 in most things too.20

Just realised last night that I can actually cross my legs now. I'd always just crossed at the ankles instead because of huge thighs.

I usually workout in a gym with no mirrors. Last night I tried a class in one of the group fitness classes that is more of a studio with big mirrors. I noticed that I'm getting some guns! Seriously my arms are slimming down and showing some serious muscle that I've built with lifting.30

My pants "settle" once I hang my keys off the belt loop and fill my pockets with screw drivers, flash drives, pens, phone, notebooks and lip balm.
At some point in the last 5 months of being overweight, I got into the habit of hitching my pants up every time I stand and massaging the muffin top back down under the waist band.
I was doing it today and feeling somewhat anxious that something about my body didn't feel right.
...
The muffin top is missing and there is nothing to hang my waist-band on. Time to start drying my pants on high heat...28 -

Bought a shirt yesterday and didn’t even try it on first. Felt good to be able to just grab something off the rack and be confident that it would fit and look good. Sure enough, fits like a glove.18

I have one scar, down to the bone that impedes my circulation on my L shin, I call it "rhinoceros leg". It has always swelled up huge in the past, a lot, when being on my feet for hours...and I also used to always get hives on my legs due to uticaria.11 -
I just had two separate people within two minutes comment on my weight loss. I don't think they know each other. It was such a surprise because I am down 50lbs and I have only had one other person comment at 40lbs and they weren't really so sure I guess. But two on the same night within minutes of each other... I must be looking slim tonight! One person was a man who works the buffet where I stay and the other was a woman who also dines there regularly and was sitting down when I went to sit with my food. Busy place too.. I really don't think they would have been talking.19

That's so funny. I've rolled my eyes in the past when reading through comment threads and I see people getting disagrees when they state their perfectly valid experiences. I've had a few odd disagrees done to my comments as well. I usually only disagree with things if bad advice is given out.11 -
@hobbitses333 Honestly, while scrolling through on my phone I often catch myself accidentally hitting Disagree. Which makes me think maybe sometimes I do it but don't notice. I can't be the only one with clumsy thumbs, so I try not to take the occasional Disagree personally since it might be an accident. =P
Also I'm sorry to anyone I did this to!
My NSV is that, even though it's my TOM and I'm actually starving and want to eat everything, I stayed in my calories today.
I'm really friggin hungry but eating probably wouldn't change that. I'd just be more bloated. So I tell myself.26 -

Aww ((((hugs)))) I feel ya girl. Bouillon or bone broth is my trick when I’m just hungry hungry all day. Especially nice in winter time!!

A little kid in the supermarket yelled "You're pretty" at me. I used to be so afraid of what little kids would say to me about my weight/body, it was usually along the lines of "Mommy why is that lady so fat?"40

awwww thats lovely and yes! The anxiety of seeing little kids (especially Teenagers!!!) was real!!! I'm still afraid they're going to make fun of me for something but at least its not as easy of a target to call me fat!5 -
I can fit back into my knee high boots! Last winter my legs were too thick and I couldn't zip them up.23
-
Can I just take a second to appreciate my legs? They have a shape. I mentioned before that for a long time, I didn't even have knees. My legs were tree trunks. Now I have clearly defined knees even with my legs straight. Admittedly a lil hard to see with black leggings. =P

Recently I was sitting with my legs bent and realized that my kneecaps had definition... there's an actual "cap" in there.18

Finally stopped feeling sorry for myself and spoke to the PTs in my gym. Turns out that there's one who specialises in trauma rehab. Discussed the issues that I've had since the accident and he suggested an assessment to see whether he can help or if I should return to the physio. Appointment booked
I have also been seeing someone about my psychological issues and she thinks that I can be helped.
Off topic: my daughter is behaving in a more mature manner now and has apologised for her behaviour, which she acknowledged was unfair. I'm gratified that she has apologised but wish that she hadn't needed to. She'll be home on Sunday so we will see.
All looking a little more positive for the new year (as long as I can survive the dreaded Christmas; not my favourite time of year).29 -

YESSSSS!! Exactly this. I have been made fun of here on MFP forums a few years ago for being "old" and laughed at in concerts for being older too - and each time, I was like, whoa, that's new, usually I just have people calling me fat.
And thanks girl...you're lovely yourself!12 -

These people, smh. I'm in the "older" crowd because I'm a 32 year-old kpop fan, and the teens think that is AWESOME because it means they don't have to give up loving their favs just because they get older.12 -

That's awesome. For every 20-something snarking at me there's another one dancing alongside me and offering me contraband so it's all good! hehe
I remember being 28-ish and in an office job and one of the coolest coworkers I had was nearly 70 years old and she dressed like Meryl Streep in The Devil Wears Prada and had long black nails. I realized then, age is just a number!18 -
@seltzermint555 you look like you're 28 now. Unless your profile pic is mega old hahaha.8

My daughter was sitting in my lap and said, “You’re not so squishy anymore.”24

I went to use the leg press, but it was taken by an older woman. So I did some push-ups while waiting. When I was done she walked over to me and said something to the effect of "I saw you earlier, you are really doing some good work-outs! I wanted to make sure to tell you, your back looks beautiful!" Wow... I mean, my back is showing it's muscles enough to get noticed?
But actually, here's the real bright spot for me. I complimented her on her work-out, and it turns out, she's 91 years old. NINETY-ONE! That's over TWICE my age! OMG... I was stunned and said "I wanna be like you when I grow up!" I told her she's an inspiration. She laughed and said that I'm her inspiration. She mentioned that she's recently started ("started") to get some soreness in her one leg and shoulder... "Oh well, this might be my new normal..." she sighed. Ummm... holy smokes. I mean, this lady is already hauling weights...
I recall overhearing a conversation between two bodybuilders about an amazing old lady at the gym, but hadn't paid attention to it. Then, today I met her. She's a major NSV... and simply meeting her and getting a compliment from her, all NSV to me!

Lordy loo thank you so much, the photo is from October and I turned 43 in November.8 -
Have to agree with @ploomka, @seltzermint555 you don't look 43, but much younger going by your photo.4
