Yeah, his stuff is quite different than when he was a drummer for FF. I like that ever since he took on the mantle of "Father John Misty" his songs have been making poignant commentary on the American lifestyle, scene and life in general.

I suggest the songs "Chateau Lobby #4" (a love song to his now wife), "Total Entertainment Forever", "Holy *kitten*", and "Bored in the USA". "Mr. Tillman" and "Disappointing Diamonds" are also quite good.
