Hi everyone. I am back for round 2. So I kind of went off the rails the last 2 weeks and gained. Way to many parties, alcohol, and food. I am a married mom of 5 (ages 20-11) and work full time. My 2 oldest are both in college, but chose to stay living at home. You would think it be less stressful that way, but I am figuring out very quickly it is not, lol. I ended the last challenge at 137.7, which is right smack dab in the middle of my maintenance range, but today I weighed in at a whopping 144.7. So I am back at it and hoping to see some weight drop fairly quickly. My weigh-in days are on Sunday just to try and help me stay accountable on Friday and Saturday nights.

Hello Again! I'm in for Round 2. I didn't make my goal the first time but I did lose a little and I was very glad not to gain to much weight through the Holidays so I'm thankful for that. My family is talking about visiting London in April so fitting comfortably into an airplane for a few hours is good motivation. Good Luck Everyone!

Joining in for the new year! I am currently the highest weight I have ever been, which is about 5 kgs (~ 11 lbs) above a healthy BMI. I'm aiming to lose 0.5 kg (~ 1 lb)/ week, but as long as I am no longer in the overweight category by the end of the challenge I'll be happy.

12/23: 190.2 Today is baking and fudge day as I prep fresh for the Holidays. No taste-testing for me! Today will be a low carb/low cal day. I’m banking it up for the holiday dinner & festivities. Good luck everyone during the challenge!
12/30: 190.4 And there are the calories I banked up, showing up on the scale as predicted. It was actually worse this week but I had a major whoosh along the way. I’m going for a good week and a better report on Jan 6th weigh-in.

Wow, 136 is so much better then I could have hoped. I knew over the Holliday I must have miss counted a few calories but I'm proud I kept under maintenance rather then gaining any. Definitely feels good! Everyone is looking great after this week, well done everyone!2 -

Off to an encouraging if slightly exaggerated start, with 2.1 kgs lost this week. TBH I was half expecting a big drop right at the beginning as I think some of last week's weight was post holiday bloat. General dehydration this morning also played a role in the loss I suspect! OTOH, I *have* been eating fairly well this week and largely stayed within my calorie limit so its not a complete fluke.
