    STARTING WEIGHT AND DATE WITH MFP (MY FITNESS PAL): 187 lbs Aug., 2019
    CHALLENGE STARTING WEIGHT: 172.4 lbs (I weigh in every Fri ~ longtime habit ~ so I will be posting twice a week.)

    Jan. 6: OK. Here we go...Fri Jan 3 ~ weighed in @ 171.2 ~ I'm really hoping that this time my "plateau" is finally OVER!! I just have 1or2 questions: Why, oh WHY do cough drops have to have calories?! 💔 And if I cough my head off for a week, does that count as exercise?? 😷😜😂

    Hello everybody, this thread seems to be my speed. Tried joining another group but there were too many spreadsheets involved. This is easy and I also like keeping the goals to a few months. So, here I am. Let's do this!

    Original starting weight (March 2013) - 175.4
    Original MFP starting weight (January 2018) - 168.2
    December 21, 2019 starting weight - 144.2 (ten-day rolling average 144.6)
    Ultimate goal - Maintain around 143 (range between 140 - 150)

    I had achieved my goal last Winter and gone into maintenance. I hope y'all don't mind a maintainer in here as an interloper. When you get to your goal, you'll see that maintenance is still a challenge. I have mostly stayed within my goal range, but have bounced around a bit.

    January Actual: I gained a little weight this week, but less than a third of a pound by both scale weight and ten-day average.

    Challenge Weight loss goal: Range between 142-148
    Actual Weight loss for the challenge: I am still in my maintenance range, and in fact right near the middle. This should make me feel great, but I try to stay towards the lower end, and I haven't seen it for a while.

    Not a good start, but I'm not giving up! I'm going to exercise on the weekends and try to after work, but it depends on how my ankles feel :frowning:

    And I'm weighing on Saturdays instead of Fridays.

    I’m starting with you. I hope to lose 20 pounds but it’s ok if I won’t. I’m breastfeeding (just in case I’m not cutting calories) so I’m just basically cutting out sugar and drinking more water. Preparing for serious dieting after I finish breastfeeding and getting myself in the routine.
