Hi
Thanks for this challenge! I’d like in.
I’m new to the community but not new to MyFitnessPal.
2019 was a terrible year for me. I do struggle with depression, anxiety and emotional eating. I’ve gotten to the biggest I’ve ever been and I want to dedicate 2020 to being healthy and putting my physical, mental health as a priority.
I’m looking for friends to help stay accountable and for support. I’m off to a good start so I’m hoping to stay consistent!
I did get my first Fitbit and it should be here soon! Yay!
I’d like to lose 70-80 lbs. but I just want to start with 1 lb a week, baby steps.
Let’s do this! We are all in it together!

This week's successes: 10 lbs (mostly all water weight) is a huge motivator!
This week's challenges: Finding food to eat that wouldn't upset my calorie count was exhausting after the first 2 days. Sugar addiction came into play pretty forcefully, headaches, nausea, and general exhaustion made it tough some days. But hey- goal it to keep pushing through.
Best of luck everyone!6 -
What perfect timing Tammie. I'm supporting a family member on their fitness goals with a joint effort and logged back into MFP to log my activities. This challenge sounds about right. Thanks for kicking it off!
