18 jan: 84.9 kg; Probably not very realistic.... slept in, so late weigh-in. Came home very, very tired after work yesterday, so no workout done. Had more water intake during the day, had some extra steps, but not happy with the total amount and above all, I ate above my calorie goal. But, today is a new day
19 jan: 84.9 kg; maybe it is a bit realistic... worked around the house yesterday, cleaned, run some errons and relaxed. Love the weekends.

01/18- 213.8 (+1.0lb) Gain from yesterday, but happy with the overall trend. Meal out tonight, which could be testing. Going to have a very light lunch (make sure I go to the gym) so that I can have a decent meal without feeling like I’m restricting myself so much. Won’t drink any alcohol though- it amazes me how much better I feel even though it’s only been 4 weeks since my last drink.
01/19- 213.2lb (-0.6) Stuck to good choices for the meal last night and drank AF beer. Can’t seem to be finding time to go to the gym. In the past when I’ve lost weight I’ve always felt that I must go to the gym and indeed I enjoy it and love the benefits. However, this is the first time I feel that I’m getting a handle on my eating habits and changing for the better, rather than excessively exercising to try and chase poor food choices. Plan today though is to break my gym ‘mini break’, cook all my lunches for the week and get ahead with some work which will enable me to spend more time at the gym.
01/20- 213.4 (+.2lb) Another slight gain from yesterday, however only minimal. I did run (jog) a 5K yesterday so could be water weight. Was well within my calories. Went to the gym which I enjoyed. Plan for today is to continue to drink loads of fluids and make the right choices when I go out tonight with old work friends.

Achieved goal weigh of 125lb in summer 2016 by losing 66lb and have gradually gained between 7 and 11 since then; I don't want to gain any more, but would like to get back to my goal weight – I'm working at it – it's a permanent way of life !

01/18 136 – 9.7 miles walked, pre planning & logging worked yesterday, I'll use it again today. Feels good to be back in control, all macros & calories well in green.
01/19 136 – 11.86 miles walked yesterday in the glorious winter sunshine. Today will be a challenge, last “Christmas” celebration of the season, all my large family get together, siblings, respective children and grandchildren, 30+ of us, we hire a church hall and all bring bits of food, you may know it as a Jacobs table or an American supper? I'm getting out for a good walk this morning beforehand and then really going to try to make healthy choices.
01/20 136.6 – 8.06 miles walked. Did indulge a little, but tried to make mostly healthy choices at our last family “Christmas” get together. Calories, carbs & sodium all over, BUT, I fought with my inner self to not use it as an “excuse” to run into a major binge (this is what would normally happen) – and it was a fight!! But the healthier me won and I ate only an apple after we got home at 6.00pm last night. So this morning I've pre-logged my food for the day and have some good walking planned too. Have a good Monday everyone!

Love the mysteries of the body! I have not eaten over my goals for the last 4 days and still my weight went haywire upon arriving home. As long as my trip this week doesn't throw me off too bad, all is good as this is not insurmountable, I still could hit my goal of 125 by or on the 27th.

01/18 264.2 There’s the water bounce dropping, plus a little more. Tom still hasn’t arrived, but at least I’m not holding onto water like the last few times it decided to be late. My goal is to see some new lows this round.
01/19 262.6 When I said yesterday that I wanted to see some new lows this round I wasn’t thinking that I would see them so soon! Though this could in part be to sleeping in an hour later than usual, I’ll be happy if I don’t see a little bounce tomorrow when I weigh at my new usual time. I figured out my eating schedule so that I’m not overly hungry by dinner time and trying not to eat everything in sight. My nsv yesterday was buying some new mean’s sweatpants in large and top in xtra large. The shirt looks a little stuffed sausage on me, but it will soon fit better, and I don’t mind wearing it in the house.

01/18—167.2 Spent 5 days in the hospital with my daughter who labored for 35 hours then delivered via c-section a beautiful, healthy baby girl who is such a miracle and blessing! There was a 2-lb. upturn in my weight during that time, so it’s back to tracking and exercising for me to get going again.
01/19 —167.0 I have started a “Weekend Winner” strategy for myself to keep positive momentum going over the weekend. This weekend my strategy is that if we eat out, I will have a salad and be careful about keeping the calorie content of what goes into the salad reasonable. It worked for me yesterday! I need to get some real exercise in today to make it an even better weekend.
01/20—167.4 Not sure what happened here, really. Maybe too many carbs in the form of fruit. I did have a sandwich yesterday (I rarely eat bread), but kept within my calorie goal. Oh well, hopefully it’s just a little glitch and will go away soon. I did get in some exercise and over 13K steps yesterday, so that was good.

Worth every calorie. Bummer is today I am in 9 hours of tax return training to become a volunteer preparer. I hate sitting for that long!!!!😵
1/19: 148.0 (-1.2) This is not going to last lol! 😂 I sat on my fanny all day in a training class yesterday and had a nice dinner with wine. But that is weight for you! Today, run and gym and good food choices.

01/19 162.2 lbs We were having a blizzard so in order to get my steps in I walked 5 miles in my house with family home, pretty sure they think I am crazy. Not going to kid myself that this is going to stay but hoping this means I am closer to my goal for this month.
01/20 163.4 lbs Hubby wanted breakfast, so I cooked and he wanted me to eat with him, which meant I broke my fast to early in the day and I knew we were going out for pizza and beer with friends in the evening but it was too long of a time to wait between and I ended up snacking and going over my calories. But it was a great day with family and friends and we need those days too, mentally. Still no exercise except snowmobiling but we are suppose to warm up above zero this week, hoping to do some cross country sking.

01/19 – Didn’t weigh, not at home. Date with hubby yesterday and I took a break from tracking. Outback for lunch and we did eat blooming onion petals, but I only hate half of my lunch entrée and saved the rest for dinner. Then to the movies, but no snacks or sodas.

1/20-165-I was under calories, but sat around too much. Today I’ll try to eat the same way but get some exercise.

Calories were fine yesterday, but I had lunch out with a friend and I’m sure I got a big sodium blast. This evening we’re going to a tiny pitch in, but I’ll aim for healthy. I’ll have to sample desserts so I don’t insult anyone, but will keep it small. Happy Saturday, all!

R102 goal: Go to bed by 10pm
how: eat using Dr. Ludwig’s “slow carb” method , except count calories as well as using hunger cues. The total food will be 75 grams of each protein, fat and slow carb. I will eat the same breakfast and lunch everyday. and eat Marty’s dinner. I’ll make soups for lunch 300 calories, This will cut down on the amount of time I have to figure and improve accuracy. This week I’ll make a cod jambalaya. I’ll make eight servings, We’ll eat it for two days, then I will freeze the rest. On days that I exercise a lot, I’ll fill in with greek yogurt, fruit, hummus, or avocado. My strength training needs to be taken up a notch. Next week isn’t too busy, so I should be able to get to the gym/exercise six days. Green zone cardio: three days Strength: legs three days, Strength: arms and core three days Minimum: walk 30 minutes or similar every day.

1/18 184 I bought my new scale and am feeling very optimistic since the old scale varied by three pounds on any given day. I plan to eat on plan and go to gym for cardio and arm strength Started daily planks.
1/19 184.0 New Scale! Is it reasonable to expect my weight to decrease by 0.1 pound per day. I stayed up too late and ended up eating the equivalent of a small meal. I’m going to add a “bed at 10” to my goal.
