Ok if MFP says I didn't get enough calories a day then it doesn't let me submit for that day? I feel full so should I eat more or is it not okay?

Your FOOD page has a "Complete this entry" button, but all that button does is generate that message and it will post to your Home page feed if you have that enabled.
Your data will save regardless of whether or not you click that. I haven't clicked that in years.
With that said, try to hit your daily calorie goals as closely as you can. That message is generated when you are eating at an unhealthily low calorie level. Under eating is not a good thing.

How have you calculated your calorie goals? Do you have a fitness device like Apple or Fitbit synced to this site? There could be a tech issue - sometimes if you have it set incorrectly it will double count your activity or exercise.
How many calories per day are you eating? How much weight do you need to lose? Those are factors and are important.1 -
Okay thank you I just wanted to make sure it is still saving. I believe I eat enough as I don't faint, weak or anything and sometimes I forget to log things.0

Hey! @mmgirl87 How low are you going for calories? I'm not sure of your age, height, weight, or stressors, so I can't run numbers for you right now but for adults I never ever suggest going below 1200 calories/day. If you find that you're low on calories each day but feeling full, you may consider choosing some higher-calorie foods (most foods that are not from plants). Hope this is helpful!

Not fainting or feeling weak is not a good way to determine whether you are eating enough or not. When you get to that point, you are risking doing long term damage to yourself. If you set yourself up in MFP to lose weight, the calorie goal MFP gives you is low enough as is to lose the weight, you should not being eating under it.
If you are not logging accurately, it really doesn't matter if it saves or not, as incomplete data won't really be of any use to you. But yes, your diary saves regardless, many of us never close our diary for the day.
