1000 Minutes Challenge - September

We are a group of MFP's who have committed to doing 1000 minutes of exercise per month (minimum). We count minutes for all types of exercise: yoga, aerobics, walking, weight training, strength work, stretching or heavy gardening. You be the judge of whether it's exercise. We're here to support, encourage, and set challenges for ourselves. It's all about intention. If we don't make the 1000 minutes this month, there's next month to go for it. Newcomers always welcome!
Here’s how to join, plus some additional information:
• You simply post to join.
• You will keep track of your own minutes every month-see intro to see what types of activities count toward the total. If you join us mid-month, it's ok to try for a percentage of the 1000, e.g. join on the 15th, go for 50% or 500 minutes.
• Most people track on the days they workout, sometimes more.
• We try to encourage and support each other.
• First one on-line starts us out-post the intro in the first post and your workouts in the next post. (We always love anyone who takes the initiative to start us!)
• Not many folks post on weekends but more post on Monday-Friday.

no exercise yet today but got to say I made over 2500 minutes in August so my personal goal for September will be 1500, since We are back in school now i wont have the time for the extra workouts. Heres to September and (hopefully) 1500 minutes!0

O.K. I just finished cycling 29.8 miles in 146 minutes...Not a bad start!!0

30 min walking + 47 min strength training = 77/1000 only 923 to go, that is nothin :glasses:0 -
I did 33 minutes on the elliptical, 31 minutes of yoga, and 33 minutes of pilate's for total of 97 minutes.0

Today - 76 minutes - 36min Insanity video and 40 min of walking (a bit of a stroll, boiling outside, but it is still something)

Was too late to start in August so will take the 1000 Minutes Challenge for September but won't be starting until September 3rd.
September 1st: Not able to exercise as at a funeral out of town so day was spent checking out of hotel, at funeral, at burial, at extended family member's house, in car driving back home. Didn't get home until almost 10:30pm.
September 2nd; Totally wiped out physically and emotionally after everything that has gone on within the last week so took a day of rest and spent the day on the internet and watching TV.
September 3rd: If I don't start exercsing again I give you permsission to give me a kick in the butt!0 -

Everyone is doing a great job! I haven't done anything yet... oops! I should get on the treadmill tonight and do something before this becomes a routine.0
