Most beautiful place you've ever visited??

Please share places you've been and found the most beautiful or captivating of all?

I love my home state of Vermont; it's such a beautiful area in every season. New Hampshire also has some gorgeous mountain areas and water falls. I think the coast of Maine is also amazing. North Carolina is gorgeous with their mountain views.
But having visited Iceland last fall, I have to say that place is gorgeous. The Black Sand beaches, the ocean views. The water falls are breath-taking. The Blue Lagoon was pretty, if you'd just make all the other tourists go away. :)

I haven't been to very many places but would love to travel more.

Three come to mind for me: Bora Bora, Lisbon, Monaco. Travel is my passion and these three stand out as the best of the best. I'd go back to any of them in a moment. Paris is also always perfect. I've never been to Italy, which shocks people because I travel so much, but am going to Rome in May- so looking forward to it.

    .... I don't get out much.

    Lol So sad.
I live a 5 minute walk from my childhood home(never moved far from home); I'm now 66. I'd love to travel more but as they say, there's no place like home. :)

Soa Miguel Azores, it’s one of the islands apart of Portugal. The streets are full of hydrangeas on the side of the roads. yes I find that beautiful because I live in Canada where the majority of the time all you see is snowbanks. The forests, waterfalls and the scenery are gorgeous, looks like humans never touched it.
