Admittedly, what might be disturbing to one person can be completely normal to someone else. That is, things that totally gives me the creeps might not even bother the person sitting next to me at all, and obviously vice versa. However, there are quite a few social norms which a lot of us tend to realize are actually pretty disturbing. What are some of the things that society thinks are normal but in your opinion give you the heeby-jeebies?

People creating their own set of "facts"...not everything is opinion and just because you don't like something doesn't mean it's not factually true or factually false.
One of the reasons I love math is that it is absolute and there is no opinion...there is only one correct answer and you can't have an opinion on that.22 -

Being on cell phones all the time, especially ten minutes sitting on a gym machine or when walking in a crowd, talking on the phone in public (I was always answering people at the grocery store when phones first started becoming popular).
It's not as common now but songs that refer to underage dating from adults, like Winger's She's Only 17. Pig! I dated older guys and thought I was so cool, as an adult I look back on that and they must've had something wrong with them.13 -

- Shaming people for traits they can't change (skin tone, gender, sexual preference, etc.)
