    if you value chastity for moral or spiritual reasons then looking for loopholes tells me your heart isn’t in the right place. And if you think a piece of skin or a single specific act is what it’s about then you’ve missed the point. Get your heart right and the sacrifice of abstinence will be something you do willingly and whole heartedly.

    If you don’t value chastity, mocking people who do or misrepresenting what it’s about is rude and divisive.

    That said, I personally dislike the weird fetishizing of female virginity that persists even in secular circles. It’s weird. I don’t believe in it. I don’t embrace it. I don’t encourage it or teach it.

    Along those lines women seem to be given the message Don’t have sex with too many people. Only have sex if you’re in love. Have sex but don’t be too knowledgeable. Don’t be confident in your sexuality or know what you want and god forbid don’t ask for what you want directly.




    It's crazy what society (or the bigger parts of it) seems to deem acceptable. The "messages" are endless. It's like how millions of men and women watched two middle aged ladies dance half naked a couple weeks ago at a FOOTBALL game.

    But I'm just an actor in the play, that's all...
