Have you made a goal but haven’t been able to keep up with it? Well this discussion will give you some tips.

My goal was to start doing cardio. Well I haven't done it in almost 6 months (since before my son was born). I am active and always moving, walking, on the go, and I lift 3-4x per week if I can. I just don't have time right now, especially to justify more actual deliberate exercise. But maybe in a few months.7

My goal is a 400 lb deadlift. I've been chasing after it for almost 2 years, and I'm just stalled. :mad:10

I feel like there was some false advertising here
My goal currently is not to eat my feelings and it is NOT going well. I know that it's best to replace a bad habit with a better one, so absent the aforementioned promised tips, I will replace eating my feelings (bad habit) with drinking my feelings (good habit?). Progress!7 -
My goal is to get better at squats. Was up to almost 1.5x my body weight when I realized I was not getting low enough. Back to lowering weights. Thoughts about bulking as I build back up? Or should I stick to maintence until I’m at least back at squatting bw (110)?0

I’ve hit plenty of goals that I haven’t maintained. At one time I could knock out 10+ pull-ups in a row, DL 2x BW, squat 1.75XBW, had my left splits. Broken bones and other personal issues have caused me to lose strength several times. Some goals I care about getting back, others not so much anymore as I’ve moved onto other goals. Most strength/skills goals are quickly lost if you aren’t vigilant about keeping them up. But also fairly quickly regained.0

My main goal that I haven't yet achieved but am slowly getting there is to do 10 perfect chin-ups. I can get to about 4 with strict form, and about 14 or 15 if I do not go all the way down. Getting there. I think this summer when I have my annual weight loss after the winter bulk might be the time,2

The goal was to get to the gym 3 times a week and I have gotten first a sore throat, then a UTI, then another sore throat. ARRRGGGHHHHH!1
