Hello everyone!!!
I have made a commitment to myself for 2020. After getting divorced, selling our home, and losing my mom all in late 2017 I found myself at my heaviest weight. With counseling and time I'm feeling better and ready to put myself first.
Thank you for putting this challenge together looking forward to working with you all on making 2020 our best year yet!

This week's successes: Catching up from last week's apparent non-progress. Two 25 mile bike rides, increasing the pace each time. Logged food and stayed within my calorie targets every day. Plenty of water as usual.
This week's challenges: New gym equipment. Had a routine forming and now I need to learn some of the new equipment and adjust program. Knees aren't liking the added attention, getting tough to walk up the stairs after a ride.5 -

I would like to join this challenge. I have been at my goal weight a couple of times in the past and know how good it feels. As I get older (57), it is getting harder to do the things I need to do to lose and maintain the lower weight. I am looking forward to reaching my goal again this year. Let's do this!

This week's challenges: My birthday7 -
I just got home from a two-week vacation yesterday. I stepped on my scale for the first time in two weeks this morning to find I gained over 7 pounds in those two weeks. That is an average of about a half a pound a day. Of course, that kind of busted my 52 pounds in 52 weeks trend.
Here is where I stand today. I’ve only lost 3 pounds in the first 9 weeks of 2020. So. I’m 6 pounds behind the 9 pounds I should have lost by now. My goal will be to catch back up to the 1 pound per week trend by the end of March.
This week’s successes: Great vacation!!!!
This week’s challenges: Getting back in the game. Need to lose over 10 pounds this month to catch up to the 52 in 52 goal.

Thought everything was getting back to normal, but no. Acute bladder infection this past week has sidelined me again. A full 60 minute slow run this morning followed by grass cutting and weeding. New start every day.
