Sunday February 02 - 158.1 - I am going to indulge a bit at a Superbowl party, but will try to be moderate. I will eat light beforehand and get in extra workouts to give myself a few calories to play with.
Monday February 03 - 161.4 - Superbowl aftermath, almost 3 pound gain in one day.

Friday February 07 - 157.4 - I was at 156.7 in October - but I ceased being able to ice skate after November when my knees became sore. Ice skating is a huge calorie burn, so I have had to adjust. Hoping to see that number again soon, I am working very hard at it.

Not destined to eat like normal people, but I'm okay with that, willing to put in the work.

Feb 08 - 192.0 I started my new plan in order to figure out what is going on with my glucose numbers. Watching calories more than carbs this time (glucose has been running too low!). Today and yesterday found my glucose too high so I will continue to tweak to see if I can come up with a good weight loss plan without hurting my T2D efforts. I am down 0.1 from yesterday which I will call a normal fluctuation.
Feb 15 - 194.8 Slowly getting worse. Experimenting with diet and apparently it’s not working like I thought it would. I need to lose weight while keeping my glucose numbers in check and watching the fats because of my gall bladder. Uggg. It’s a science. I’ll get it.
Feb 22 - 195.0 I went up a bit higher this past week after travel and glucose problems, but am slowly working it back down. It’s at a trickle pace, but it all counts!

So I got bit on 2/12/2020, put on antibiotics. I do not do well on antibiotics, that reads weird but is true. Had follow up blood tests, now am seeing an infectious specialist. Yep, MRSA has shown up.
You know sometimes, we need hit over the head or at least I do. One of the nurses at the specialist office said to me. Take a break, go into maintaining your weight mode. You need to work on getting the cellulitis under control, and getting rid of the MRSA, and the low grade fever. That is what is important. Once that is under control, then yes go back to your weight loss quest. But first this part of your health is what needs your attention. I felt about an inch tall. As I never once looked at it that way. And she is so right. I am working on about 20 minute of exercise per day. But also working on everything they told me. And going in three times per week for 3 hour sessions of antibiotic cocktails via IV.

This month has been about not eating my best and gaining/losing the same 2 - 3 lbs. Here's hoping to end on a good note.
FYI: I have adjusted my ultimate goal because when I hit 118 in Dec 2019, I realized that I still wanted to try to lower my body fat to a normal range. I have been back and forth between 33% and 35% for about almost two months. My goal is 30% and we will see what happens. I tend to carry my weight around my waist and hips.

Thursday February 13 - 158.8 - Coming back down. I will have to work really hard to make up for that one delicious dinner : - )
Friday February 14 - 157.7 - Festivities tomorrow, going to moderate as much as I can. Half way through the month and down 0.4lbs - not good enough. Such hard work!!
Saturday February 15 - 156.3 - bit of a buffer before the festival food and drink.
Sunday February 16 - 158.2 - Up almost 2 pounds in one day argh. Hopefully I can get that back off fast.
Monday February 17 - 158.5 - I was "good" lots of calories left over yesterday. It will come back down with diligence.
Tuesday February 18 157.9 - better
Wednesday February 19 - 158.4 - Had a good dinner. Still within my calorie range, but I only seem to lose weight if I can work out enough to to have a 500+ deficit on my tracker each day. I only had 200 calories left over yesterday, so am up in weight. Really need to get back to my Feb beginning weight and beyond in the next 10 days. Not destined to eat like normal people, but I'm okay with that, willing to put in the work.
Thursday Feb 20 - 157.9
Friday February 21 - 156.0 - Not getting my hopes up too high, but this could be the first month since November where I might see a loss : - )
Saturday February 22 - 155.5
Sunday February 23 - 155.4 - A 3 pound loss for the month would be so great, there are days left in which to accomplish this.
Monday February 24 - 156.3 - No reason for the gain, so going to think of it as a normal fluctuation.
Tuesday February 25 - 155.7 - 0.6 of a pound left to reach a 3-pound loss for the month. Working on it!
Wednesday February 26 - 154.7 - This could be a fluctuation, but I'll take it!
Thursday February 27 - 154.3 - A couple of days left in the month. I would like to drop another 0.2 in the next few days.6 -

Definitely not what I had planned but it will be ok. The scale is just one measure of health. I have improved my running mile this month and ran for hours at a time. I will see you all in March!!!5 -

7th- 222.9. I ate pad Thai and spicy wontons the night before & went over my calories😭😭😭 . I hoping it's the sodium. Hopefully next weigh in will be better!
13th - 219.6 I signed up for the gym! Been going every few days
21st -218.3 been going to the gym 4x a week a lot of treadmill and stair master. I had a session with a personal trainer who's been working with me on weight lifting. I have 2 more times. Hope I can soak up all his knowledge.😊
28th -217.0 I'm happy with this. I've haven't been in the gym as much due to stress and family issues.
Total loss for February -4lbs overall I'm happy with it. Didn't lose the 5lba but had issues in the last week so makes sense hoping to get down the full 5 for March 🙂3 -

I have my days where I feel bleh about the scale just going back and forth but overall, I'm not giving up.3
