    @Bex953172 The middle of February we found a large cyst on my left ovary. 3 days later I had surgery to remove it, my left ovary, and my left tube. The cyst was 12x12 and weighed about 3/4 of a pound.

    Hi everyone!

    Sorry I've kept everyone in the dark about the follow-up. Matt's been off the last two days and I've wanted to spend time with him. I haven't spent much time online at all.

    The follow up went well. The cyst was benign! The doctor removed the mesh that covered the wound which hurt like a *kitten*. She was amazed at how well the wound is healing and at the range of motion I have. Have you ever worn a hair tie on your wrist that was a little too tight and it left the indent? That's what the wound looks like. Lol. My next appt is on March 31st and that should be the one that clears me to go back to work! I can't wait! Another 3 weeks of sitting at home are going to drive me crazy. Lol. I overdid it a bit yesterday though. Matt and I went food shopping which was fine but when it came time to load the groceries onto the belt I twisted too much. I'm definitely tender and a bit sore. That was definitely a lesson for me. The next few days I am definitely going to take it slow.

    Dad is taking us out for dinner tonight. I can't wait! I love spending time with him. Before I met Matt he was my favorite person in the whole world. He and Matt are very similar. When I was growing up I always said that I wanted to marry someone like my Daddy. And I did just that. Lol. So tonight should be fun.

    Okay. I think that's it for today. I'm only going to add two or three goals today because I need to take it easy for right now.

    Omg firstly I'm sorry you found that you had a cyst and had to have an op! And sorry I wasn't here! But I'm glad the news is that it's benign and is healing well!

    I definitely have way too much stuff. I need to streamline my existence, resist adding more stuff, and start using what I have already got. I have been working towards doing this for several years with my decluttering. I need to stop the march of consumerism, and putting money into the pockets of other people by buying things I want rather than actually need.
    03 Jan: This is going to be way harder than I thought. Need to work out strategies and guidelines for what I can and cannot purchase.
    1. I have a stack of books which I haven't read. I will read one of those book a month, and not buy any more books this year. I will source any other books I want to read at the library.
    2. Book 1: The Illusionists - Rosie Thomas ✅
    3. Book 2: Eleanor Oliphant is completely fine, Gail Honeyman✅
    4. Book 3: Nothern Lights Ch 8
    5. I have closets full of clothes that no longer fit. I will work my way through them over the next two months, and either alter them to fit, or donate them to charity.
    6. 07 Jan: One bag already full and ready to go to the charity shop
    7. I have a lot of Craft supplies. I will optimise what I have before I buy any new supplies. Sticking to this one will be difficult.
    8. 07 Jan: Depth Year: I have Patchwork Craft this morning. I will pick out one of my ongoing projects and work on it to completion. No new projects until I have finished at least 3 ongoing ones.
    9. 14 Jan: Craft Group: working on patchwork project from last Tues.

    Good morning all! After what sounded like a busy and tiring week for so many, I hope each one of you has a chance to relax and refresh this weekend <3

    Yesterday was a pretty good day, although chores got derailed when I volunteered to watch my grandsons after school so my daughter could attend an event marking the 100th anniversary of women's suffrage in the U.S. :)

    After another good night's sleep, I'm feeling energized on this sunny Saturday. The scilla and mini irises are blooming and daffodils are pushing up all over the yard. One week until Spring Break! I'll be heading down to visit my son in NC at the end of the week, so I have lots to do.

    Goals for Friday, March 6, 2020
    • Complete food log and maintain a calorie deficit - √
    • Gym/walk outdoors 30+ min - √
    • Make appts: vet, salon - √
    • Bank/bills - √
    • Pick up groceries - √
    • Finish laundry (one more load to go) – X

    Missed last couple of days, I can feel my inner toddler starting to rebel so I’m trying to keep to just my “must” and not do extras (report on forum) unless I’m feeling strong. This is getting to the hard part, entering “maintenance” phase of my habits (not yet of my weight!) when I “know” how to do things but want to be lazy.

    Daily habits: track, 😀exercise😀, journal😀
    Thursday Action Plan
    1. Up at 0530, pill, fitness center cardio, yoga😀
    2. Upstairs before 0630, pill😀
    3. Healthy breakfast😀
    4. Pack oatmeal, protein bar, and protein powder in bag😀
    5. Choose smart at lunch 😀
    6. Hotel by 9, journal, lights out 9:30 (ideal, have little control over timing, group rides etc)👿—nearly 11

    1. Up at 0600😀—forgot to set my alarm...luckily the TV in the next room started blaring at 5:45! Had already figured out I wouldn’t get a workout in the morning.
