I made some banana bread in the morning when I woke up, my hubby and I went grocery shopping, I bought a brand new beautiful couch with electrical recliners and a dining table with chairs, we went to Best Buy to buy the Nintendo Switch, we took my father in law out to dinner since he officially moved to Florida this morning. Hello everyone, I'm new to MFP forums. This one seems like a great fit for me. (No pun intended.) Background: Had a 40 lb. weight loss (228 lbs to 188 lbs) from June 2014 to June 2015. Added fruit to the low carb plan, hit a long plateau and stopped "dieting" and tracking in March 2016. Fast forward 4 years.. 30 lbs gained back. Ready to get back on track.

69 years old female...5'5" ...I used to be 5'7" but arthritis hit and I lost two inches, so now that two inches is squished around my waist like the billows of a big accordion...
...Oh, well. I'll just keep working on it.
We used to walk 5 miles a day. A pinched nerve and back surgery side-lined me for about a year. Then I had back surgery. Now I'm waiting to get my hip fixed. Hip Doc said surgery in April. Ugh! I can't do any walking or biking...both kill me. I see my personal trainer three times a week. She is taking it very slow and easy with me.
I have March 10th as my hip surgery date...much better than April!

He's 15 months so a little behind with it, but he's a big boy at 31.5 inches tall (half my height already!) and around 30lbs so I'm not surprised as he had more weight to lift and a higher centre of gravity to work with! We've known for a long time that he can do it, he just lacked the confidence so we've been working with him to build that up. So sweet to see his little face light up when he realised he was doing it himself!

Goals
I've been taking stock over the weekend and realized that I've been sick quite a bit since December so I'll be going on maintenance for a few rounds, maybe until Easter. I'll concentrate more on health: eating a balanced diet, drinking 2l water, lots of sleep and being active. My aim this round is around 1500 cal and to stay between 150 & 155 lbs. I'll probably have to adapt calorie intake over the round
