What Mini Goal is motivating you right now!

Not catching and dying from covid virus (I live in an affected county).
So. Healthy nutrition.10 -
Be under 200 by end of April. That would make me pretty dang happy. I'm sitting at 205-206 right now, so as long as I stay on the path, it's definitely doable.5

Working on getting to 30 lbs total lost - I'm two and a half pounds away. I may make it sometime next week, maybe not, but that's my next mini goal.6
-
Getting back under 300lbs is my immediate goal. About a year ago I was 348lbs and am now 321.8lbs today. Working away at it and hoping to get there soon.10

... My next mini-goal is actually a rather major goal... I'm 2# away from maintenance! So I really need to pay attention to my exercise calorie estimates and figure out which ones are close and which ones are not-so-close...
I'm also due for another iron test in about 30 days, and if it comes out in my favor, I can go off iron supplementation!
If I'm entirely honest, going off of iron supplementation will feel more like winning than anything. Those iron tablets are so hard to time and some days they're kinda hard on my stomach. :P9 -
@ElizabethKalmbach That is awesome! Being so close is a challenge all on its own because you do have to finally figure out how many calories you really need to maintain vs losing where you can have a range that all falls in a calorie deficit. I hope all goes well with the iron test, too!1

I made myself a deal that each ten pound loss I’d schedule myself an order from StitchFix. Keeps me motivated and updates my wardrobe a bit at the same time. Seven pounds until the next one!!7

@jeagogo It has been both interesting and challenging for most of this last venture into weight loss. I had been maintaining pretty steadily for about 6 years before this problem with my iron last summer. Since then, a lot of my daily habits have changed and my activity level has skyrocketted, so keeping to a steady loss rate of .5#/week has involved persistently updating my TDEE every few weeks. I started out at a shockingly low 1470 calories per day, and now I'm eating 2300 per day and still losing steadily.
When people tell you that puppies are a lot of work, they aren't lying. I went from having a 13 year old dog with hip problems to having a puppy who needs to go for a couple miles every morning and every night to keep him out of trouble, and I may have to come up with a different eating pattern just so I can get in enough calories during maintenance to keep up with him! Good thing he's cute!5 -
Over April I want to get the house as packed up as it can be while we're living in it, so that we can, at the end of the month, find a new house, and sell our current one. My weight loss goal of go down eight pounds still applies, but given that I'll be doing a lot more physical work (I am doing ALL the packing, and we are living in a two-story house currently) I am going to let myself not worry so much about the gym. Some of these boxes are heavy.5

The beach😍😍😍.. I wanna go to beach this summer season (April).. I want to wear cute clothes5
-
I found a pair of jeans on the sale rack for $1.00 . A DOLLAR. How could I say no? Ten pounds and I'll own them!8

Mine is exercise-related: I absolutely HATE exercise, and I lost 30 pounds since the first of September with just changes to my eating habits. I'm going to aim to walk one mile every morning before work. Now that winter has backed off a bit, it should be do-able even for me.10

to get to 269. Closest I got was when I was full steam ahead about 1.5 years ago when i got to 270.6. I'm 287 right now... back on track and hoping to be there in two months.8
-
2 currently. First, I just became able to jog again and want to increase from 20 minute nonstop jog (4.5-5 mph) to 30 minutes. And second, I want to get under 300 lbs. Stuck in the 304-307 range for a week now lol8
-
I'm running a 10K in a little over 2 weeks.4

not gain weight during my vacation to Hawaii. I am waiting at least one night after I get back before weighing myself due to the long flight3
-
I want to drop at least five more pounds before the annual ID photos at work are taken. I can't even look at last year's; I was 35 pounds heavier and my face was a big circle on top of not-much-neck.8

Me, too! Except I am waiting till I lose another 30-40 pounds. I make the badges where I work, so I'll get to take my new picture when I'm ready.4 -
I have met my micro-mini goal of of "recovering" from the four course Annual Italian Association dinner (three pound wight gain overnight due to not-yet-processed bulk in the digestive system)
I have reversed that blip - and am now within two pounds of getting back to the BOTTOM of my chosen maintenance range (drifted just out the upper end over the winter)
Once there - I gotta work Transition all over again, and on the daily habits that will KEEP me there.5 -
mini goal for me is gaining back 5 pounds to fill out my clothes again!
currently 5'4 142
goal 5'4 1473 -
Getting under 190. The goal of 40lbs has been to overwhelming. so I am taking it 5lbs at a time.7
-
to stay alive from coronovirus10

I'm inching closer to a big accomplishment. I currently weigh 80.5kg (down from 94kg), so close to dipping below 80.
I can't remember the last time my weight started with a 7... It's been at least 10 years, probably even 12 or 13!
It's a bit like Benjamin Button, I feel like I'm getting younger again
At last, at long last, down to 79.8 kg!7 -
I'm at goal so my goals are more fitness-related. This sounds kind of dumb but on one leg machine I'm able to do two plates away from the bottom for two sets then the one before the last for one set. My goal is to be able to do the whole thing by the end of June, something about seeing none left and doing 295lbs is so motivating! I reached my plank end-of-month goal of 6 minutes but have 20 seconds to go on side planks to reach 2 minutes, I'm doing a challenge and need to reach it by the end of the month. I tend to want to beat machines and my last time/amounts instead of feeling challenged by people, I try to beat things like flights of stairs on the stair treadmill each time I go to the gym.8

Went through all my clothes as a quarantine activity and found a pair of jeans that will zip but not button, so my mini goal is to fit into those jeans!8

Looking likely that I will get there by the end of the month ... If so, (re)starting Transitioning exactly one year after I reached Maintenance the first time2 -
Stayin' alive. I've been running UP and down so many stairs waiting on others that my legs are getting in some serious kind of shape. I'm here to tell you that I've been lifting heavy oxygen machines. toting barges and lifting bales. My clothes are fitting differently. It's one of the few bonus side effects I didn't anticipate. Increased muscle mass.8

Climb v5. I currently get the odd v4, but v5s are hard. I got a v4/v5 earlier this week, but it was definitely not v5.
This may take me all year, but it will make me happy. There are sub-things which will help:- Keep my weight low - I'm currently 142 pounds
- Train a lot
- Develop more finger strength for crimpy climbs
- Explode with power more effectively for dynos and parkour-style moves
- General strength. I have a vague plan of doing a muscle up. My pull-ups are good; dips are hard. So dips are part of my training now.
Hmm.... Getting to v5 will take a lot longer now than when I wrote this!
I can still train most of the things in the list. There will be a lot of hangboarding for finger strength in the months ahead.5 -
I may not make it, but I'm down 20 pounds as of today and I'd purely love to lose four more pounds to hit the month's goal. Five to be 25 down, which is one-quarter of the way towards one of my goals. Maybe so, maybe no, but I'm sticking with this.
I have a new personal mini goal of doing bodyweight work every day since I can't go to the gym. If I do it for a month, it's a habit!7
