Thank you Vic for all of your hard work with this challenge and the one before this. I had fun logging in every week and it was great getting to have everyone's success be my inspiration to keep going. Good luck to everyone with their continued weight loss and maintenance.
No weight loss this week, but I'm very happy with not gaining at all this week. This summer has been hard for me to stay on track, so I hope once I'm back from work and away from all this vacation I will be on the right track again with losing this weight!

Up about 1.1 lb this week, don't believe it is a true gain because this pregnancy has me more constipated than I've every been!!!! I know, TMI! Regardless, I'm happy to be holding fairly steady. Will continue to eat maintenance calories for the next 5 weeks, then bump it up to gain 1/2 pound per week. So this will be my last challenge.....until next spring!!0 -

I missed my challenge goal by 5 lbs but I weigh 6 1/2lbs less than I did at the beginning of the summer. Yes!!! I am a happy camper cuz I have returned to Onederland and I am going to STAY there!!

Well, here we are at the end of the challenge - it's been a hard time for me personally, and I got pretty stuck for a month or so in the middle there, but I'm happy to be at the beach in September weighing 5.5kg less than when we started (I really should get some scales that weigh in pounds, 12 pounds down sound much better then 5.5kg!). My weight goal was to lose 6.5 kg so I'm one kg short of my original goal but 1kg better than my revised goal and I'm happy with that.
One of my non-scale goals was to run 12km in the City to Surf race - finishing at the beach, which I did last week.
My other one was to work on binge eating and I can't say that's gone but I'm much more aware of what I'm doing and working on strategies to change these habits. That is going to be an ongoing task, but I feel like I've made a good start.
Overall, a good outcome from this challenge - Vic, thanks so much for doing so much work to keep us on track, it is really appreciated.

Even though I missed out on the last couple of weeks, mostly due to computer issues, I've managed to keep myself on track and finish at lower than my goal! The best part: I bought a pair of size 18 pants today. When I started my journey at the end of March I was wearing size 24.

I was worried I wasn't going to make it! Checked the scale at the beginning of the week and because of TOM I was up to 170 again so I was really happy this morning. I'm also really happy with my progress over the course of this challenge. My original goal was 174 and have passed that by almost 7lbs.!!! I haven't taken any pics yet, but will try to take some this weekend.0 -

Thank you Vic soooooo much for this, I've lost *counts on fingers* 17.5lbs? Wow, I'm VERY happy with that. The weekly weigh ins and the charts and the challenges have been great for me – especially now I'm getting towards the end of my weight-loss journey. I'm now 11.5lbs from my ultimate goal weight – though to be honest the closer I get the more I'm not sure if that won't just be a little bit too small for me. I'm already in my goal size clothes (UK size 12), had to completely overhaul my wardrobe and say goodbye to some very loved but also very large clothes, I've lost inches a plenty, and I've had so many NSVs! It's kinda crazy...though the acid test will be next week when I go visit my old Uni friends from my undergrad...who I last saw at new year (when I was 232lbs+) and about 2 days before I started this new lifestyle...they better notice the difference!
I will try and get some pics posted on that (or the new Xmas challenge and accountability threads), if I can get one taken...and also then work out how to get them on a forum...but they'll also definitely get on my profile page.
Please feel free to friend me if any of you would like to stay in touch, it's been such an inspiration reading some of your stories, nsvs and seeing you get over your struggles.0 -

I did not reach my goal, but I lost a total of 7.6 pounds during the challenge. Considering the last few weeks I have not been totally committed to working out and eating right, I am very happy with the overall results!

Ok....I've got some pics. (I'll post on the Success Stories forum tomorrow).
The top set of 4 pics is from January when I started (157+ lbs), the bottom set of 4 pics is from June when the challenge started (135 lbs).
The one in the gray shirt was from my daughter's first day of school (8/29) and I was around 126-127. The one in the blue dress was from my Open House/Meet the Teacher Night (I was 125 -- that was when my tongue was crazy and I couldn't eat). The one flexing is from last night...I'm just a dork. :laugh:
