FIT MOMS WITH BIG BUTS?
Replies

I'm a mom. I have a great butt. I had a great butt before kids, and I have strong glutes. I lift heavy weights and do compound lifts that incorporate the glutes.
I don't have a big butt. It's proportional.
I've done Bret Contreas Strong Curves (I did advanced, but I just finished another lifting program).
My butt looks better than it did when I was overweight, but the overall shape and how my hips are shaped along with the distribution of muscle and fat is largely genetic.5 -

1.) there have been several deaths in our area and elsewhere from people trying to get cheap booty lifts. Make sure you know who you’re dealing with.
2.) fashions change on a dime. How many body “styles” have there been in the last two or three decades. Where are you going to be in four or five years when folks are over the Kardashian/rapper chick look and a pancake butt becomes the style? why do we have to strive to look like some”body” we’ve seen on Instagram ?
3.) my former neighbor was office manager for a large plastic surgery practice. One of her “perks” was a free plastic surgery per year. She laughed and said it wasn’t worth it. Her explanation was that when folks have liposuction, and have fat removed, the body often compensates by making wierd lumps and bumps pop up elsewhere. She claimed to have seen it a hundred times and said no way would she have lipo done herself. I don’t know if she was pulling my leg, but it made sense and it’s stuck with me over the years.
4.) I’d rather obsess over the quality of my knowledge in my head and my kindness to myself and others, than my *kitten*. That just bothers me, but each to their own, I suppose. This kind of smacks of pressure by, or to be perfect for, a significant other. If that’s the case, reevaluate priorities. YOU are worth more than the sum total of the shape of your two buns, honey.
I see a beautiful woman in your profile pic. Lots of women would and do have plastic surgery to look like YOU. The grass is ALWAYS greener.

Thank you so so much. I doubt anyone would want to look like me lol there’s many other girls way prettier than me but thanks. It’s just so so very hard to accept my body type. 1. I WILL ALWAYS COMPLAIN WITH THE CLOTHES I WEAR! 2. I LIKE THE CURVY SMALL WAIST BIG BUTT LOOK. 3. I FEEL I DO NOT HAVE CURVES LIKE MANY OTHER WOMEN.
It’s just hard for me and it has always been hard, I really wish I was curvier and I love the look of a big bum, heck it even grabs my attention tbh.
My butt has always been naturally a bubble butt but it isn’t as big as I wanted and I just feel with a fat transfer I will have more size to it.
I just think weight lifting will make the shape nicer, but not the size.
Sometimes I don’t know what to do anymore, I also want a small waist and my genetics don’t help at all.
I am tired of posting and looking for help but I just don’t know what to do anymore.2 -

It can take months or years to see the results you are wanting. If they can be accomplished at all. You can't expect to see results in a couple months. That's a drastic change. It's like me getting upset that I haven't lost 50 lbs in 2 months. It's not going to happen that quickly.
And, in my opinion the girl in the picture doesn't look muscular.
I don’t like the muscular look, I like the natural fat booty look. But tbh; I don’t know it my goals match the goal weight training gives you. I want it big round and jiggly. Not super hard like a rock, so I don’t even know what to do.
Is it just me or is fat booty and fit sort of an oxymoron?

Agreed.
OP, you are constantly recycling this issue. The answers you get to each and every thread are pretty much identical every time. You disappear and then you start all over a few months later with a brand new (old) one. Surely you can see that this obsessive and demeaning relationship you have with your body is not healthy?
What are you trying to get out of this thread that you didn't get in the previous ones?12 -

When I lost weight, I also kinda lost my butt. It was deflated and sort of flat. I started lifting and doing squats, deadlifts, lunges, step ups, hip thrusts, and glute bridges. I also gained a few lbs because my low weight was really low. Anyways, hubby loves my butt now and I have gotten compliments on my shape. When you lift in a small surplus, you can make some booty gains of both muscle and a little fat, which will help round your butt. Have you looked up Brett Contreras?4

Please don’t get stuff injected into your bum. Wear paddied undies if that’s the look you prefer. No one will know.2 -

They really won't, women have been wearing bum rolls and hip pads for centuries. I'm pretty interested in historical fashion.
Until very recently, the clothes made the body. Add a roll here, ruffles there, you could have the "in" shape you wanted with a little engineering. You didn't have to inject things into your body or have stuff sucked out. Modern fashion has failed women on that front.

But...but...it costs more! There is an entire industry behind this, and creating the desire for it--what a shame! I live in Italy and I'm always interested when noted plastic surgeons are interviewed. They are all very.... imperfect. THEY do not do plastic surgery. Have you ever wondered why? I have.3 -
I just don’t think fitness will get me a huge bum. I mean yes it will look peachy but I am looking for opinions because I personally don’t think with weights my bum will be huge, perky yes but not phatt *kitten*, *kitten* clapping look. To each it’s own, but that’s the look I like. My butt is perky naturally and sort of nice but not big as I would like.ExistingFish wrote: »cupcakesandproteinshakes wrote: »DancingMoosie wrote: »When I lost weight, I also kinda lost my butt. The thing is I don’t know anyone who has gotten a huge bum with weights only... I mean yes it will look perky but idk if I’m capable of having it increase a lot in size with ONLY weights. Many people bulk to get bigger, if you bulk you’ll get bigger bums because you gain a bit more fat.
So I believe if I want to increase in size I need more fat added, due to the fact I’m fat already and my but isn’t huge.0 -

This.
Your aim is a totally artificial look for the vast majority of people, so you need to get it artificially.
Personally, I don't think it's a good idea, or a good look, and I think you would be much better to seek out some counselling and focus on your new baby, but if that's really what you want, go talk to a surgeon and stop posting the same question on here over and over again.5 -

So why continue about it? Seriously, you can't get the look you want naturally. Get surgery (and properly inform about the risks beforehand) or accept that you can't have the body shape you want; work with a therapist if necessary.
Hey, I want to have a slim, androgynous look. Guess what: I got the pelvis of an old miller's nag. Great.11 -

why are yall being mean to her? no need for attitude
OP as asked this exact question on several occasions. The results she wants can't be obtained through diet and exercise. The only way she'll get the results that she wants is with surgery. There is nothing wrong with wanting to have plastic surgery, or getting it done.
If you have some advice on how OP can get the results without surgery, please share.1 -

What is your suggestion to TO's question? You could tell TO in the kindest possible way that you understand here and that if she wishes this hard enough it will happen. But what does TO gain from that? Being realistic sometimes is the best thing to do.3 -

All I want is a big bubble butt🥺
But thanks guys, I want to feel happy with my body shape so I will definitely look into liposculture but of course I will add weights and healthy eating. It isn’t my intention to annoy people, but I’ve posted multiple times because it seems like EVERYONE here is against plastic surgery and besides that mostly everyone thinks you can get a really big butt through only strength training which I believe is not gonna happen due to the fact you need more fat to have more size, Thanks y’all.0 -

There is a reason why people are against it, Janet. Many women are blind to the dangers. Research it well yourself, because if you decide to do it, it's on you. Sometimes happiness isn't what we think it is. You're young now but what's going to happen to that big butt in a few years...gravity and all. However, I wish you luck.3 -

If you want something that only rarely occurs in natural situations, surgery is probably your best bet.
And what does it matter if everyone here is against plastic surgery (and I don't think that's true) if it is something that you want to do? Seriously, why do you care?5 -

Sometimes happiness isn't what we think it is. You're young now but what's going to happen to that big butt in a few years...gravity and all. However, I wish you luck.
