This post was perfect for me to see first thing this morning. Thank you for sharing your success and you should be proud! Since I'm at your height and starting weight, I'd also love to hear what you have been doing and how long it has taken.2

You are doing amazing! Thank you so much for sharing!! I am the same height and body type, and started at the same weight, with the same weight goal. I see myself in the first picture - progress that I've made from there - and get inspired to make it the rest of the way. You look stunning and healthy - those differences I want to see keep me encouraged to keep going.3

Thank you all for your kind words! You're all so sweet! For anyone wondering the details, i tried my best to summarize below

My before picture was taken December 2018, right before I started MFP again. After having 2 babies, I decided it was time to get back into shape. So my official start was Janurary 2019. I didnt lose all the weight at once. I've had "breaks" for weeks or months , which lead to a couple regains. Nothing more than 10 lbs though. I've managed to stay pretty consistent overall. The first 40lbs took me about 5 months to lose. At that point, I took a break & gained close to 10 lbs back over a couple months. Started up again around 170lbs and lost another 20 lbs in about 3 months. Since December 2019, I've been hovering the the 140s comfortably. But still trying to reach 140, my GW!! The Covid stress got to me over Spring & halted my motivation for a bit, but I'm back on the wagon.
Overall, I just watch what I eat. I try to avoid empty carbs. Eat smaller, more frequent meals. Mainly stick to meat & veggie meal plans. I rarely "workout". I walk 30 mins a day, 5 days a week. I'm on my feet alot at work, as well as at home, thanks to my littles ๐ So yeah.... that's basically it!

Your journey is pretty much the one I am trying to make right now! I'm about 25% of the way through.
Thanks for this, it's always really inspiring to see people with similar heights and starting weights make it all the way to goal. I don't think you look obese in the first photo (I only know you were because I know the BMI cut offs for someone our height). I think you just look really pretty no matter your size, but you definitely look a healthy weight in the second. It's definitely something to aspire to, so thank you for sharing.
If it's not too personal, can I ask how you feel about your skin having lost the weight? 4 stone is a lot to lose, and I'm getting increasingly nervous about what's going to happen to my skin when I make it to 145lb as well...3 -

@thelastnightingale. Awh, thank you I'm comfortable in my skin for the most part. Some areas are a bit looser than I'd like (tummy, underarms, knee caps, ect..) but nothing major. I have to dismiss some of that to aging as well.2 -
Congratulations! Your hard work and dedication clearly show!
