June 04: 211.2 Not a good way to start. Death in family, stress eating, glucose drop with eating frenzy and nighttime binge. Disaster!
June 11: 211.0 Traveled this week and expected a gain, but instead I got a plateau. Should I be grateful or worried? We shall see I guess.
June 18: 208.4 I am battling glucose drops that force more carbs than what I want in my plan. My body sure fights me when I want to lose weight! But Iβm the boss and I will successfully win this fight!

Tuesday June 02 - 150.7 - Yay!!! Finally hit the 40 pound loss, it has been a long haul. Even if it is temporary, I hit it. Very happy.

Thursday June 04 - 150.6 - Any drop is a good drop for me, even if very small.
Friday June 05 - 151.3 - Low on sleep, calories and exercise were on point. Hoping to see those 150 numbers again tomorrow.
Saturday June 06 - 151.2 - Gave up a tiny bit yesterday, had nachos. Still well within my calorie range.
Sunday June 07 - 152.0 - Up way too early, Hope to be below this number tomorrow.

Wednesday June 10 - 149.9 - Very excited to touch a new decade. That will motivate me.
Thursday June 11 - 150.1 - I am good with that number, touched those 140s once, so I can do it again. I delayed my cheat meal (rib eye steak with prawns), but I will be having it over the next few days or so. It would be great to get firmly into the 140s sometime this month.
Friday June 12 - 153.4 - Had Ribs last night, Asian Sesame. They were delicious! They also must have been salty because I drank like 2 litres of water afterward I was so thirsty. I expected a gain, but not this much. I will work on getting it back down now. No regrets on having my fave food, I went from having them weekly to once per month or less. I won't be giving them up, life is too short. Just trying to moderate.
Saturday June 13 - 153.2 - Expected to be less today, but it is slowly coming back down.
Sunday June 14 - 152.9 - Good thing that there is a half of a month left!
Monday June 15 - 150.9 - Okay, the Ribs seem to be finally gone, time to get back to that 149.9 as my next mini goal.
Tuesday June 16 - 151.0 - 14 days left, I hope to lose at least 2 pounds, and of course I want to hit those 140s!!

Friday June 19 - 150.3 - Huh? I have been super disciplined, I was hoping for a loss today. The gain is small though. I had scheduled a cheat meal for today (still haven't had that Rib Eye), I will have to rethink that, I gained 3.3 pounds the last one (7 days ago) and it took me awhile to get rid of it.
Saturday June 20 - 150.6 - 10 days to try and drop another pound. I will work hard for it.

Thursday June 25 - 150.7 - Hmm. Well, it was raining here yesterday, so I wasn't out busting my kitten in the hot sun. I peed like 40 times, maybe that 1 pound was water and just being hung on to by my body because of the heat? I changed nothing in my daily eating and exercise regime.

FYI: My body fat (BF) had been back and forth between 33% and 35% from Oct 2019 to March 2020. My goal is 30% and we will see what happens. I tend to carry my weight around my waist and hips.

@syreina I'm not a counter of steps, I don't have a fitbit or anything. I just look under the heart thing on my iPhone (not the most tech savvy gal either) but how on earth do you get that many steps? I walk/run/trot about 6 miles a day and my phone says maybe 11-13 thousand steps. Maybe my phone isn't the most accurate way to measure that sort of thing. I got a heart rate monitor but saw your steps and then learned I could check them on my phone so I started doing that. Just wondering about its accuracy.

@rmwb529 I do have a Fitbit - Charge 2 - that counts my steps. The latest is a Charge 4.
So yesterday, it says that I walked 5.43 miles. During the week at every hour starting at 8am, we will walk a lap outside of our apt building, 500+ steps. By 6pm, we have roughly 6k to 7k steps. Our fitbits vibrate every 10 minutes until the end of the hour if you have not walked 250 steps.
With the fitbit app, you can set your reminders and I have the reminders setup for my typical workday.
Our big winner is in the evenings. We will take a 2.5 mile walk from our apt to the end of a trail nearby. This 2.5 mile walk will give us 6k steps and it really helps with the weight loss for me.
We didn't start our walks until the lockdown started in Texas. It has grown on me much more than I thought, even on Fridays! Last Friday, my husband did not feel like walking after dinner so we stayed in but I had energy. Me! I never have extra energy so I started cleaning/rearranging around the apt at 8pm on a Friday evening.
In the end if we are lucky, we can reach 12k+ during the week.
The days that I have more than 12k may mean that I went on-site for work and I park further away from our building to get more steps or at least the equivalent of having those hourly walks. I have a desk job so once I go back on-site full-time the evening walks will be more of a blessing because I would have days were I end my workday with 4k steps.1 -

I have an app on my phone. You put in your weight, it tracks your steps and gives you a calorie count. I use that number in mfp. I don't have a fitbit.
I work out lots in other ways every day, but walking really loosens everything up and I think helps with water retention too. It just takes a lot longer to burn calories than say...Zumba (which burns twice the calories per hour compared to walking). Any way that we can burn extra calories is great!1 -

Monday June 15 - 150.9 - Okay, the Ribs seem to be finally gone, time to get back to that 149.9 as my next mini goal.
Tuesday June 16 - 151.0 - 14 days left, I hope to lose at least 2 pounds, and of course I want to hit those 140s!!

Friday June 19 - 150.3 - Huh? I have been super disciplined, I was hoping for a loss today. The gain is small though. I had scheduled a cheat meal for today (still haven't had that Rib Eye), I will have to rethink that, I gained 3.3 pounds the last one (7 days ago) and it took me awhile to get rid of it.
Saturday June 20 - 150.6 - 10 days to try and drop another pound. I will work hard for it.

Wednesday June 24 - 151.6 - Still haven't had my Rib Eye (cheat meal). I had a couple days where my output was almost as big as my input, yet no loss. I really don't get it. I won't give up. Chicken Breast and veggies yet again for dinner tonight. Something's got to give.
Thursday June 25 - 150.7 - Hmm. Well, it was raining here yesterday, so I wasn't out busting my kitten in the hot sun. I peed like 40 times, maybe that 1 pound was water and just being hung on to by my body because of the heat? I changed nothing in my daily eating and exercise regime.
Saturday June 27 - 150.0 - How great it would be to have lost 2 pounds this month. 3 days left to lose 0.3. Always trying!
Saturday June 28 - 149.3 - Great to have touched this number. I slept in, so it might not be very accurate.

Monday June 01 - 151.7Tuesday June 02 - 150.7 - Yay!!! Finally hit the 40 pound loss, it has been a long haul. Even if it is temporary, I hit it. Very happy.Saturday June 27 - 150.0 - How great it would be to have lost 2 pounds this month. 3 days left to lose 0.3. Always trying!
Wednesday June 03 - 150.7 - Great to see this number again.
Thursday June 04 - 150.6 - Any drop is a good drop for me, even if very small.
Friday June 05 - 151.3 - Low on sleep, calories and exercise were on point. Hoping to see those 150 numbers again tomorrow.
Saturday June 06 - 151.2 - Gave up a tiny bit yesterday, had nachos. Still well within my calorie range.
Sunday June 07 - 152.0 - Up way too early, Hope to be below this number tomorrow.
Monday June 08 - 151.7 - Okay, back to the beginning of the month again.
Tuesday June 09 - 151.2 - Better.
Wednesday June 10 - 149.9 - Very excited to touch a new decade. That will motivate me.
Thursday June 11 - 150.1 - I am good with that number, touched those 140s once, so I can do it again. I delayed my cheat meal (rib eye steak with prawns), but I will be having it over the next few days or so. It would be great to get firmly into the 140s sometime this month.
Friday June 12 - 153.4 - Had Ribs last night, Asian Sesame. They were delicious! They also must have been salty because I drank like 2 litres of water afterward I was so thirsty. I expected a gain, but not this much. I will work on getting it back down now. No regrets on having my fave food, I went from having them weekly to once per month or less. I won't be giving them up, life is too short. Just trying to moderate.
Saturday June 13 - 153.2 - Expected to be less today, but it is slowly coming back down.
Sunday June 14 - 152.9 - Good thing that there is a half of a month left!

Monday June 29 - 148.7 - New low! Yay. This motivates me. I have only lost 3lbs in a month once, in 2019, I normally lose about 1 pound per month. I did burn a gazillion extra calories this past week, kept my eating the same. Of course there is still tomorrow's weigh in.
