@UTMom81 What are my American friends planning, food-wise, for your celebration (even if it is a semi-locked down celebration of Freedom)?

We’re just grilling hotdogs 🌭 I prefer to accommodate things like celebration meals with lighter meals before/after.

    Thank you @GrandmaJackie

    Goals this round:
Get back to my lowest weight on MFP, 173.2!
IF 18+ hours (pretty much normal for me now since I'm never hungry in the mornings)
Row at least 30 mins a day / weights 6 out of 10 days
    5 vegie/fruit each day
    Water, water and more water!
    No sugar

06/27 - 175.2 - RUH ROH!! - going in the wrong direction. I haven't been doing very well with calories or exercising the past few days. Got to turn it around!
06/28 - 175.0 - okay, better day yesterday, thank goodness. Have to catch it early or I'm done for weeks.
    06/29 - 174.9 back to where I started this round ;)
Here's a 2017 blog I found on MFP. A good reminder about weight fluctuations:

We're British so don't normally celebrate 4th July, but as it's a big step down tomorrow in the Covid restrictions I am calling it Independence Day for us too; hairdressers, barbers, pubs, campsite are all open - all with restrictions of course, but well worth a celebration !! So first thing I'm getting my hair cut and roots coloured - so excited, not done since 2nd March !!
After we arrive at the campsite for our evening meal we shall bbq of course; salmon steaks, new potatoes served with a wonderful fresh salad. Delicious!!!

Happy 4th July/Independence Day to all however you celebrate!! :)

We’re doing coconut rum shrimp. It’s summery and delicious but lighter in calories.

I love the idea of that salad— that’s all that’s in it is fruit and whites chocolate chips???
@UTMom81 - We celebrate Independence day Armenian style with kebab, grilled vegetables, and taboule. I'll make a red, white, and blue salad for dessert (strawberries, blueberries, and white chocolate chips which aren't really chocolate but as everyone knows - buttercream)
