June goal was 146.7 - Actual end weight 148.1
July goal 143.4 (realistically I would be happy with 147.1 since I normally only lose one pound per month)
    Ultimate goal: 112-115 - Age 59, height 5'2"

Wednesday July 01 - 148.4 - Up just a titch from June EW, but really pleased to be starting the month in the 140s for the first time.
Thursday July 02 149.4 - Eh? Not sure why I would gain a pound in one day, not doing anything differently. Staying on track and hoping to see it lower tomorrow. I am never happy with fluctuations, you would think that I would be used to it by now! Very long work day, didn't get home to start making dinner until very late.
Friday July 03 - 149.2 - I am off of work today, so can get more workouts in and eat well. Another .2 off tomorrow would be great.
Saturday July 04 - 149.1 - Late dinner 2 nights in a row, I need to change that.
    Sunday July 05 - 149.1 - I expected a gain because I partied yesterday - it might catch up i a few days, but I hope not!
    Monday July 06 - 149.3
Tuesday July 07 - 149.1 - Happy to be staying in the 140s so far this month even if I am still one pound up from my June EW. Being at the higher end of the 140s is precarious, so I hope to get down to an area where I have a bit of a cushion if I feel like eating like a normal person for a meal or a day.

Wow! It's already a weigh in day! Yesterday I went for a long walk before bed, just slow one enjoying the evening, but it was nice to have that extra movement.

    Original starting weight - 189
    July starting weight - 183
July goal - down 6 lbs to 177
    Ultimate goal - 145/150

    1st - 183 lbs
7th- 181 lbs (pretty sure this is because I have been bad and not drank any water yet today! but I am surprised at this loss!)

Hope the long weekend for your Americans didn't put you behind too much, and that you were able to enjoy it reasonably. And for everyone else - let's rock these next 7 days! What's one thing you will do to help you get to your goal this week? For me, like I said, I want to add a walk on top of my morning workout. And I should probably drink more water . . .

I realize this looks like a mega extreme drop for one week. I've been eating 1400 and didn't do much exercise save for one long walk with my husband. Another night I ate below my calories goals due to lack of hunger (it wasn't a great night), but according to my tdee I shouldn't be losing as fast as I am. I'm not complaining at all! lol but it is interesting how a calculator can say one thing and reality be completely different.

Good loss! I hope you can sustain it without feeling hungry! I agree with you how two things can end up being so different! Mostly it just reminds me out bodies are wild and so cool.

Thank you! I was previously at lower amount and would end up overeating every couple of days. At that point I knew I needed to increase my calories other wise I'd never make progress.

I will meet my UGW this month!

The cause of my weight gain in May 2020, lol: Renpho Bluetooth Scale on Amazon

FYI: My body fat (BF) had been back and forth between 33% and 35% from Oct 2019 to March 2020. My goal is 30% and we will see what happens. I tend to carry my weight around my waist and hips.
I have seen 31% twice in May - on my way!
    30% in June, finally!!!

MFP Starting Weight: 140 lbs - February 2011
Current Starting Weight: 147.4 lbs - November 2017

    Height: 5ft
    Age: 31

July 6: 112.6 ... so I overate on Sunday. I need to make sure my over-snacking does not turn into a habit every other week or every two weeks... 31% BF

@fstrickl The one thing I WILL do is SO different from the one thing I NEED to do. I NEED to track but I've fallen off that wagon. Exercise and water are all good. I just can't seem to get that going again. It's hard to hit on all cylinders all the time. So I'll commit to logging my food for a week.
Good question. Thanks for doing that!

Happy to have asked! I find when people ask me direct question about small goals it really helps me focus. It's much easier to think "okay, I can drink 2L of water every day this week" instead of "I need to drink 2L every day!". Great to hear your committing to logging for a week, that's a perfect weekly goal. I hope it's been going well!
