    Starting to Zig Zag today.
    Question????
    I am doing exercise daily,
Mon and Wed - 30 days shred,
Tue - midium exercise (around 300 cal),
Thru to Sat - High intent exercise (around 450 cal).
Do we eat more when you are doing exercise along with zip zag?

I've read it and all the different comments etc, I even understand it, but it just seems so bizarre! I am a generally sedentary female 5'8" who weighs 228 pounds. My 2 pound loss goals set me at 1200 calories a day.

To do this zig zag, I would reset to losing 1 pound a week, which has me for 2239 maintaining/1739 losing/ 800 max 1439.
    So day 1 1439
    Day 2 1439
    Day 3 2239
    Day 4 1439
    Day 5 1439
    Day 6 2239
    Day 7 1439
    Day 8 1439
    Day 9 2239
Keep Repeating the 3 day cycle.

My thing is, how will my body lose more weight eating sooooo many more calories per week than originally?

Hi, I'm on 1200 calories per day and almost near goal. I've hit a plateau that I need to push past. Do you have to zig zag so dramatically? I don't really want to eat too much less than 1200. Could I just have 1000 one day and 1400 the next and so on? Would I be able to eat exercise calories on top of that? Any info would be good. Thanks!

I've always found zig zagging so confusing, but you really cleared it up for me! Thank you so much!! I'll be trying this starting tomorrow.

i've been doing the 7 day cycle for 2 weeks and lost 3.2lbs. seems like it's slowing down now. hate to be dense, but am i supposed to be eating back exercise calories or not. still confused. it seems like too many calories if i eat them back.

I am in the same boat, 1200 a day is my goal, but i am still 20 lbs away from my goal. What can be recommended for us?
    Thank you

I did, for two weeks, then flatlined again.

IF is the only thing that keeps me losing continuously.

  • Bump! Found this interesting. I'm also one of those stuck on the 1200 range so I'm waiting out to see the response..
