Anyway, this is long and rambling to say that despite the pandemic and the stay-at-home and despite the RL tragedy affecting me, I have transitioned to being in XS a good 40% of the time (I think; it's a guess) and S 100% of the time.
I've also transitioned into eating at my goal weight maintenance calories, though I'm not there yet, but if I eat like I want to be, eventually, I will be. And it's easier for me to manage than trying to "lose weight" when other things crowd everything else out.
My dragon bested me this month, and probably this year, but I'll get up again. Repair my armor, and fight again another day.

I wore my wellington boots today! They are a Hunter “fashion fit”and I believe the max calf circumference is 39cm. It’s a bit of a squeeze, and there was pretty much zero wiggle room. And a bit tricky to get them off again 😂
I’m hoping further weight loss will reduce my calf somewhat although with all the running I’m doing who knows. I have another 14kg to reach a healthy BMI and could probably stand to lose a bit more after that. Fingers crossed I can lose 1 inch..!11 -
This one actually does involve a scale, but only because it has to. The number I saw was no surprise to me.
A friend left yesterday for a three week backpack trip. She's going to hike the Oregon portion of the Pacific Crest Trail. I had asked how much her pack weighed. She doesn't have a scale. She used to use one in the gym back when we were going to gyms. I told her I'd bring one by at lunch.
I got home just as they were about to roll out of their driveway; they drove over, and I brought my scale out. I weighed myself so then I could weigh myself holding her pack. She saw the number on the scale and said, "That's all you weigh with all your clothes?" Yep. As it turns out, I had actually stepped on the beam/balance scale at work that morning. I do that sometimes as a check against my home scale. I actually set the balance to what I think it should be based on my weight at home and then hop on.
By the way, her pack was 25.1 pounds. Not bad! She decided to weigh herself so she could compare to her return. Then her partner hopped on. Crazy thing; they were almost exactly the same mass.
Really though, "Is that all you way fully decked out in your clothes?"

just a reminder to myself and others, don't ever give up. I've been kinda down and out lately (a few months)...still working out everyday with 20 PLUS mile bike rides every morning and weight training, but a little lazy on calorie intake. I know I have gotten much stronger because of how I can push myself harder each day.... Haven't taken any progress photos of late so snapped this one today. Losing the 100 lbs was one thing, maintaining is a lot tougher than I thought. With all that being said, I am still proud of how far I have come in 1 year and 5 months. For example, I would have never been caught dead in a form fitting t-shirt even just a year ago. Still plugging along for the long haul!

I finally figured out the sweet spot of my calorie intake that allows me to see progress at a rate that feels (and is) successful yet doesn’t cause me to feel like trash in the day.
I can’t even begin to state enough how weird of a puzzle this has been for me (and therefore how excited I am about the whole thing). I don’t know if it’s age or hormone fluctuations after 3 kids but what worked for me after child number 2 has been a total crapshoot for the last 2yrs, since having child number 3. So I guess the second NSV is that I’m not viewing these last 2yrs as a “waste” but instead I’m acknowledging the (small) progress that does exist and choosing to celebrate having finally figured out what this version of me needs.
I relate to this so hard! Over the years, I have tried eating 1000, 1200, 1500, 2200 and 2500 calories and failed each time. I finally found a daily cal intake that allows me to drop weight at a decent pace while keeping my hunger pangs in check.7 -

My most recent NSV is my morning blood sugar -- I am staying between 97 and 105 without the aid of medication or insulin shots!! Woohoohoo!!! It's a party -- hoot hoot -- it's a party!!!36

I went for a massage and didn’t feel self conscious about my body.
Going for massage if also a victory in that it shows I’m prioritising self care in more areas than just weight loss ❤️25 -
I washed my car, instead of sitting inside infront of the computer, or taking it through a car wash18

I did a 24 mile walk yesterday, with a few hills (not as many as I would ideally have liked).
Walks over 20 miles used to break me a bit. I feel fine today, so I'm off for a climb later. I suspect the not broken thing is due to my weight loss, and the reduced impact/work involved in moving that distance.27 -
I am the kind of bloke that wears the same couple of outfits until they fall apart and I need new ones. This means that, though I only have limited clothing, things at the rear of drawers and cupboards tend to stay right there....
I had a sort through today and some of the shorts and jeans that were relegated to the back, because they didn't fit, finally saw the light of day for the first time in a couple of years.
Long story shorter, though many are still too tight to wear, I was able to fasten the buttons and zips!
A couple more weeks like this and my wearable wardrobe will more than double.....20 -
So it's a little TMI but I'm so happy. I was in the tub shaving and realized that I can see "down there" when I shave it now. I still have to move my stomach a bit but I wasn't able to move it enough to see in the past.20

I'm not sure this counts but the gyms are open again in NY. We got hit hard for sure. It felt really good to be making progress again this week.14

My NSV, my eating habits for two weeks. Set my mind to it and have diligently keep to higher ratio veggies/fruit vs meat. And I Cut Out 99% bread. Occasional bun if eating out, luckily only four times. And can't resist - Scale Victory too.11

Yesterday I got the “you need to buy new pants” from my husband, again. 😀 I’m throwing out my clothes as I shrink out of them so it really keeps me in check.16

I got completely drenched biking in a downpour on my way to padel this evening (around 40 min one way) But I didn’t turn around and blow it off - there were 3 other players depending on me to show up.
And while I felt complete sorry for myself I didn’t crave candy as a reward once workout was over. Instead I climbed back into my soaking wellies, cycled home and took a hot shower and had my planned post workout snack. Feels like a development in mindset! 6 months ago I would definitely have bargained with myself for a reward.20 -

It’s great fun and a good workout. It’s very beginner friendly as well, more so than tennis and squash I understand. It’s been surging in popularity around here the last couple of years and I started playing last fall. Highly recommend!6 -

Glad you cleared up what it is - I'm afraid I though OP had simply misspelt Paddle - lots of Paddle boarders where I live This sounds very interesting!4
