    08/06 …..209.8 …..

08/07 …..209.6 ….. I basically burned it off with lots of hard work yesterday. Diet still not completely on point. Still too many “distractions” and “upended” dramatic things going on in my life, my family and my business. I am doing what I can, when I can. No excuses, just realistically making a better plan for myself as I am able. I am grateful for the small drop on the scale.

    08/08 …..209.8 ….. Sodium/Water retention for sure.

@kperk91 Fluctuations are normal. A drop in weekly or round average is a good goal but even those fluctuate on occasion.

8/7 116.5 I ordered a small batch ice cream freezer last night. It makes 1 pint. I have been desiring ice cream this summer but keto ice creams are outrageously priced and I haven’t seen one that everyone loves. Besides, our regular ice cream freezer makes 6 quarts-way too much for 2 people!

Have you taken any time at maintenance since you began in December? If not, taking a week or two “controlled break” may really help you reenergize & recharge your motivation.

@kecward78 Congrats on the new job. I am sure you will be a huge asset to the company and will find much success!

Thank you! I'm still trying to find a state or federal job, but with Covid, there's been a hiring freeze. But the company is good and since it's contract work (w/ permenant after the contract is over), it gives me flexibility.

@kecward78 Congratulations on the new job! I hadn’t remembered that you were out of work, I’m sorry. You have made great strides over the past year!

I took a buyout from my old company almost 2 years ago. Since I was finishing my degree and helping my mom recuperate after surgery, it seemed like a good idea. I got hired in the beginning of this year, but they put a freeze on new hiring right before my start date... but they haven't restarted, so I had to find something else. Thanks for the compliments! I just finally found something that works for me. This is my lightest in over a decade and I'm a little ahead of the pace I hoped for.
